We’re excited to introduce the eight individuals who will represent Minnesota FFA as our National Delegates at the 99th National FFA Convention & Expo!

Throughout the week, these delegates will collaborate with members from across the country to help shape the future of our organization, bringing the voices and perspectives of FFA members to the national level.

‼️ MEMBER MONDAY ‼️

This week, we’re excited to recognize Corbin Lamphere from the Kasson-Mantorville FFA Chapter!

Corbin has a passion for agriculture, serving his community, and lending a helping hand wherever it’s needed! Whether he’s volunteering at the chapter’s corn maze or petting zoo, helping with Feed the Farmer and the annual Ag Day Dinner, or exhibiting livestock, Corbin is always eager to get involved. He also participates in the Fish and Wildlife Career Development Event, continuing to grow his agricultural knowledge and experiences.

Thank you, Corbin, for your dedication to agriculture, your chapter, and your community! Keep up the great work!

⭐️ FEATURE FRIDAY ⭐️

Today, we’re featuring the Fergus Falls FFA chapter in Region 3!

The Fergus Falls FFA Chapter hosts a variety of events that help their community while providing valuable leadership experience to their members. One of the chapter’s largest events is their Kindergarten Farm Day, where students spend a day learning about agriculture through hands-on activities led by FFA members. Through this event, members introduce younger students to agriculture and its importance in their lives.

Additionally, Fergus Falls FFA members work hard at a mission bigger than themselves. Chapter President, Tally Clark says, “I think what makes our chapter unique is the amount of effort our members put into being involved, leading others, and giving back to our community. Kindergarten Farm Day is one of the best examples of this because it allows us to teach the next generation about agriculture while also giving our members valuable leadership and communication experience.”

Through their commitment to their community, the Fergus Falls FFA chapter truly embodies the final piece of the FFA motto, “Living to Serve.”

This week’s Wednesday in the Blue & Gold features members up in Region 1!

Last week, members from across Region I came together for the Region I Fall Rally! The day was filled with opportunities to learn, compete, connect, and grow as leaders.

Members explored different areas of agriculture through hands-on workshops, challenged themselves through competitions, and connected with local businesses and industry professionals to discover future opportunities!

The day also gave members a chance to give back to their community through a service project supporting local farmers!

🌟 MEMBER MONDAY 🌟

Meet Breckyn Horton-Schumann of the Plainview-Elgin-Millville FFA Chapter!

Whether she’s in the show ring, competing in an FFA event, or serving her community, Breckyn is no stranger to leadership and agriculture. She currently serves as her chapter’s 2026–2027 President and has found success in Ag Sales, Livestock Judging, and earning her State FFA Degree.

Her passion for the beef industry extends far beyond FFA. Breckyn was named the 2025 and 2026 Premier FFA Showman of Olmsted County and has represented the Minnesota Angus Association as Miss Minnesota Angus Princess, Miss Minnesota Angus Queen, Association Secretary, and a 2026 delegate.

Breckyn also serves as a Minnesota 4-H State Animal Science Ambassador and holds leadership roles within Olmsted County 4-H. Outside of agriculture, she is a National Honor Society member, honor student, and maintains a 4.0 GPA.

From advocating for agriculture to developing her skills as a leader, Breckyn continues to make an impact wherever she goes. We can’t wait to see what she accomplishes next!

💙💛 Welcome to Wednesday’s in the Blue & Gold! 💛💙

We’re excited for the opportunity to highlight what’s happening across our state throughout the school year! Whether it’s a recent competition, a regional event, or an exciting chapter activity, we’re excited to showcase the amazing members who make Minnesota FFA so special. We’re kicking things off by highlighting a special group of individuals: our Regional Presidents!

This group of eight individuals has worked hard throughout the summer, leading their respective regions in planning and facilitating events. Along with their responsibilities within their regions, they’ve also helped make our summer camps a huge success!

Thank you to our Regional Presidents for all of your hard work, leadership, and dedication across Minnesota!

The CHS Miracle of Birth Center is cited as one of the most visited attractions at the @mnstatefair seeing over 1 million visitors annually (roughly half of all fairgoers).

Along with veterinarians, advisors, and staff, FFA members help work the exhibit, showcasing the nearly 200 baby animals born each summer during the 12-day fair. These members work tirelessly caring for animals, cleaning, answering questions, and even doing live TV interviews. Here’s a special thanks to all the members, veterinarians, and staff who helped make this exhibit a success!
