Had a great time yesterday with the kiddos at Art Along the Rogue in downtown Grants Pass yesterday. Great artists, some good food and music, and a good time with Jinxy and my Pumpkingirl!

Roxy and I did a sprint up to PDX on thursday so I could meet my neurosurgeon Friday morning. We grabbed lunch at Oishii Sushi in Springfield, then stopped off at the Claw Factory in Salem. Spent the night at the McMenamins Lodge in Forest Grove. We're going back there so I'll get more pictures next time.

The appointment went well, looking at surgery to implant a deep brain stimulator for my essential tremor sometime early next year. Headed back down south and grabbed lunch at Buddy's Diner in Eugene. Great place with a cool atmosphere and wonderful wait staff. For friends along the way, sorry we were just too wiped to try and set up and meet up ☹️

Attending Ani-Medford today made me think back on the two cosplays I actually put energy into. On the left, Captain Barbossa flanked by a couple of Time Lords. And on the right, V for Vendetta next to my daughter doing Jade from Beyond Good and Evil (old very cool video game).

Kyra and I had an amazing time Wednesday evening seeing Weird Al Yankovic's Bigger and Weirder tour at the Jackson County Expo. Puddles Pity Party opened and was great. And Weird Al was a dynamo and his backing band was amazing. They gave proper attention to the big hits and did a medley of the old classics with some new stuff mixed in. It was a perfect show and he even played longer than he was scheduled.

The fire at 5: 30pm heading into GP on the parkway just past the fairgrounds. I had driven past it about an hour prior coming back from Medford on Rogue River highway and had helicopters flying directly overhead by @mnmrmustard

Roxy and I attended the Southern Oregon Candlelighters Summer Luau at the Medford Railroad Park. They invited me as a representative of Make-A-Wish Oregon and to see how we could collaborate in the future. Thank you to Kate for the invite.

We were also gathered to say a fond farewell to Doctor Ellen Plummer, a local pediatric oncologist who has helped so many local kiddos and their families.

We all wish her the best as she and her family move back east.

Me and my pup both got haircuts. Bottom left shot is of Gus, who was jealous that I was paying attention to Yondu 😉

My cut/beard trim was courtesy of Nelson's Barbershop @nelsons_barbershop_and_mobile_ and Yondu's grooming was courtesy of Bark, Bath, and Beyond @barkbathandbeyondgp
