Session 1 with St. Vincent-St. Mary Senior: Melania Cornute

I first met Melania last year during the St. Vincent-St. Mary girls basketball media day. At the time, I didn’t know much about her. As the season went on, though, it became pretty clear she was a special player on the court.

What I learned very quickly was that she’s really good at basketball. What she’s not quite as good at? Getting a tick off her shoe. 😂 As we kicked off her senior session, it was fun looking back on how much had changed over the past year. From media day to now preparing for her senior year, it’s been exciting to watch her journey and growth both as an athlete and a person. by @mnute34
