Today I’m celebrating the women of PASHI (Pan African Sisterhood). ❤️🖤💚

Being one of the only young men in this space has taught me that real strength isn’t always loud. It’s found in service, patience, wisdom, and love for community.

These amazing mothers and elders pour their hearts into making reusable menstrual pads that help restore dignity and provide a basic necessity for women and girls in Africa. Watching their dedication has inspired me in ways I never expected.

Thank you to every Mama of PASHI for embracing me, teaching me, and showing me what selfless community looks like. I’m honored to stand beside you all. Here’s to many more years of impact, unity, and uplifting our people.

When the women of PASHI first met me, I was quiet. I wasn’t the one to start the conversation, but they took the first step and welcomed me. They complimented my clothes, and I shared that I’m a designer. That’s when they told me about their sewing club and the work they do to help women in Africa and communities worldwide.

That was the day my eyes opened. I realized the power of using your gifts to serve others and make a difference beyond yourself.

Since then, I’ve learned something valuable: the same way someone showed me kindness, opened a door, and made me feel welcomed, I want to do that for the next person.

Be the example you wish you had. A small gesture can change someone’s path.
