Good afternoon ❤️❤️
Happy new week with this smooth beautiful song
George Michael released “It Doesn't Really Matter” on May 13, 1996 Europe and 14-05-1996 in US
As the 5e single of the older album
Again a underated almost never played song and one of my favorite of this album🎤🎼🎶
The song deals with the painful aftermath of a failed relationship, where the narrator repeatedly tries to convince themselves that nothing matters ("it doesn't really matter at all") as a defense mechanism against heartbreak.❤️‍🩹💔
George sings🎤 about feeling powerless to change the past, mentioning lingering shame, emotional numbness ("tell myself I feel no pain but I do"), and the bitter reality of trying to break down a former partner's emotional barriers ("I failed to break down your father's wall").💔
Accepting Time and Aging , like "it's no good looking back because time's a thief and I believe that I'm too old for that" reflect a mature, weary realization that repeating old arguments and holding onto lost love is a waste of remaining time. Underneath the mantra that "it doesn't matter," the song shows that it actually mattered deeply.💔❤️‍🩹
And i was so happy he song this live during🎤🎙🎼🎶 symphonica and how close up is this footage..so blessed we have this
It always shows the emotion george sings the song's with and feels the music ❤️‍🩹❤️
So enjoy 2 minutes of close up george and this immens beautiful song and george his touching soul voice 🥹🥹 love to see george his beautiful eyelashes trough is glasses 🥹
We will never love you less george 💔❤️
Have a great monday ❤️

Good morning 🥰❤️
Happy november 1 🍅🍁🍂
And Happy release day to round here
Released on 01-11-2004..22 years ago ❤️‍🩹
Round here is from the fifth studio album, Patience and reached number thirty-two on the UK single charts. The song is about George Michael his childhood and how he remembers his first day at school..and growing up, with david austin and andrew ridgeley and waiting Patiently to make it in the big world and he never left london❤️‍🩹
The music video🎬📽 (directed by Andy Morahan) includes recording the song in studio🎧🎙🎶🎼, plus some clips of Kingsbury, London, where George was born.
This song is so melted in my heart..the soft way he sing's 🎤🎼🎶 it and with so much warmt 🥹💔
And i think we can all in a way relate to it..i never left my town to and still live in a 5 minute drive from were i was born ❤️
Well Let's george explain the song himself in the first part..with some photo's and video's of myself when i was there and some original george footage ❤️💔
And ofcours the song in part 2,3 4 5
Wish you all a beautiful sunday❤️

Happy release day to this iconic masterpiece of a album Faith ❤️released 39 years ago 🥹
Faith is the first solo studio album by GeorgeMichael, released on 30 October 1987 by Columbia Records in the US and on 2 November by Epic Records in the UK.In addition to playing various instruments on the album,🎸🎹🎷📀 George wrote and produced every track on the recording except for one, "Look at Your Hands", which he co-wrote with David Austin. A pop album with influences of R&B, funk and soul music, Faith's songs include introspective lyrics, which generated controversies about George personal relationships at that time.❤️‍🩹
Faith peaked at number one on the UK Albums Chart and US Billboard 200. It stayed for 51 non-consecutive weeks inside the Billboard 200 top 10, including 12 weeks at number one. It was also the first album by a white solo artist to hit number one on the Billboard Top Black Albums chart. Faith spawned four number one singles on the Billboard Hot 100: "Faith", "Father Figure", "One More Try", and "Monkey", making George the only British male solo artist to have four number one hits from one album on the Billboard Hot 100. George embarked on the Faith Tour to promote Faith in February 1988,🎤🎵📻🎶
Faith is one of the best-selling albums of all time, having sold over 25 million copies worldwide, and was certified Diamond by the Recording Industry Association of America in 1996.The album won several awards, including Album of the Year at the 31st Grammy Awards. George won three awards at the 1989 American Music Awards: Favorite Pop/Rock Male Artist, Favorite Soul/R&B Male Artist and Favorite Soul/R&B Album. He was also honoured with the MTV Video Vanguard Award. Often ranked as one of the best albums of the 1980s, Faith was ranked number 151 on Rolling Stone's list of the 500 Greatest Albums of All Time in 2020.🏆🥇
The album took over a year to make and was recorded and written at the Puk Studios facility, located near Randers, Denmark. The lack of press activity there proved it to be a comfortable environment for George to work in without harassment💔❤️‍🩹 also happy release day to hard day 30-10-1987

😍❤️ LAST WEEK, WE HAD THE INCREDIBLE LUCK OF ATTENDING THE PRESS SCREENING OF GEORGE MICHAEL: THE FAITH MOVIE IN HAMBURG!

And I was even allowed to bring guests, so @mo56.21 🇳🇱 @dawn_hupfer 🇺🇸 and my sister @caro.bethi joined me for this very special experience. And honestly… WE ARE STILL SPEECHLESS! 😭

If you were lucky enough to experience the Faith Tour live back in the day, this film will take you straight back. It honestly feels as if you’re right there all over again! And if you never had the chance to see George live during this legendary era, now you can experience a little piece of that magic on the big screen😍🙌🏻

We honestly didn’t want the film to end! 😭❤️ It was so wonderful to relive these unforgettable moments, and if you think you already love George with all your heart, just wait until you’ve seen this film. You’ll walk out loving him even MORE! ❤️❤️❤️

And one thing really struck us: George didn’t need an elaborate stage production, spectacular stunts or a million special effects. All he needed was to step onto that stage and be himself. His voice, his charisma, his presence and that incredible connection with the audience were MORE than enough. Just George. And that was pure magic! 🙌🏻🔥

We have to admit that the press screening in Hamburg was rather underwhelming 😩, especially compared with the absolutely spectacular world premiere in London! THAT was the kind of celebration George deserved ❤️

As we weren’t allowed to take photos or videos during the press screening, we wanted to share a little something special with you instead ❤️As a little bonus, we’re sharing snippets from interviews with David Austin, George’s longtime collaborator and co-director, and Chris Porter, the film’s producer.

Good morning ❤️❤️
Kissing a Fool, released on 21 November 1988 by columbia recordeds and epic records as the seventh and final single from George Michael his debut studio album, faith in (1987). 🎧📀It was the least successful single from the album, reaching number 18 on the UK Singles charts and becoming the first single in five not to reach number one on the Billboard hot 100 the US. However, it reached number one on the Hot Adult Contemporary Tracks chart and became a number 5 hit on the Billboard Hot 100,being regarded critically as one of his most vulnerable recordings and one of his best ballads. In 2021.🎙🎹🎸
BBC 2 listeners voted "Kissing a Fool" as number 15 in their top 40 George Michael songs.
Kissing a Fool" was George his last single for almost two years in the United Kingdom.❤️‍🩹
In an interview published in the December 1987 issue of International Musician and Recording World magazine, George remembers writing 🖋"Kissing a Fool" en route to Japan for Wham!'s 1984 tour (referring to the Big Tour) in early 1985.However, much like other songs George was writing at the time, it couldn't be used for Wham! due to certain restrictions in the duo's image; a solo album would be the best chance to use it (which, in that case, turned out to be the Faith album more than two years later)🎶🎵🎼🎙

George about the writing of "Kissing a Fool":

I don't think I've ever been influenced by other friends as to who I should or shouldn't go out with. "Kissing a Fool" isn't really about that. It's about a relationship I had with someone who couldn't handle the situation because of who I was,
George : At the time it did surprise me. First I hadn't realized how much I'd achieved and secondly I hadn't realized it could have its limitations. I write it in that swing style because I think that period of music had that feeling of resignation. It's very much a late night giving up feeling.
There is something there that can compare with any other 💔
But you knew we loved you ,we could have show them all 💔
Have a nice tuesday with the most beautiful ballad❤️‍🩹

Good morning ❤️‍🩹
It's the #25 again 118 months without George Michael
💔

I miss you today💔🥀
Which is no difference than yesterday our tommorow
Except there are endless tommorows that i'll miss you
And only a limited numbers of yesterday's where you were still here
It's not just today i miss you
It's all the day's 💔
So many times each day.
I stop and think ,you should still be here ,i miss you 🤍🕊

I'd say love was a magical flame
I'd say love would keep us from pain
Had I been there
Had I been there
I would promise you all of my life
But to lose you would cut like a knife
So I don't dare
No, I don't dare
'Cause I've never come close in all of these years
You are the only one to stop my tears
And I'm so scared
I'm so scared

Take me back in time maybe i can forget ❤️‍🩹
Have a nice sunday everyone ❤️❤️
