We want to start out by saying that we don’t normally bring other shops or people down in this business. We see a mistake or a problem, we get to it, fix it, and move on. This case is different.

@stradamotorwerks_614 was initially tasked with getting this car ready for big power, and unfortunately they failed to do so for the customer.

The list of issues we found is long, but here are some of the major ones when the car arrived from Strada:

• Turbo manifold copper nuts were completely loose. The manifold had to be removed and a new gasket installed.

• The T4 turbo gasket was blown out due to the four turbo bolts not being properly tightened, allowing extremely hot exhaust gases to escape.

• Those hot exhaust gases melted the inner passenger-side fender liner and were also heating the brake fluid because the brake line was routed directly in the affected area.

• The Motiv Reflex was not properly set up, causing the car to dump excessive amounts of fuel. The vehicle would smoke-screen and randomly shut off while driving.

• The fuel system was not rated for the power the customer wanted. Had the car actually been tuned properly for the intended power from the start, this could have resulted in fuel starvation.

• A safety item as important as the roll cage was not properly installed or bolted down, turning something designed to protect the driver into a potential hazard.

• Exhaust flaps were installed incorrectly, causing the exhaust flap modules to fail.

• There was no proper heat shielding. Vacuum lines had already started degrading from excessive heat exposure. We replaced them with hard lines to prevent the issue from happening again.

These aren’t cosmetic issues or us nitpicking somebody else’s work. Several of these problems directly affected the reliability, drivability, and safety of the vehicle.

The car is in good hands now. We went through it, corrected the issues, and got everything properly sorted.

What a rocket 🚀

We’ll be seeing it again this winter for a built motor. 😈

Minor setback, major comeback… from having my first motor completed split from the bottom to the top half, I just decided to go all in.

Daily-driven BMW M3 Jahre Edition came in needing some attention.
Previous owner made some questionable “mods” to the OEM exhaust — restricted the whole system and left multiple leaks behind. Got it corrected and breathing properly again.

Where do we even start with this one…

Close friend of ours picked up a built W205 C63s AMG — unfortunately the previous owner clearly had money but zero care for the car. The wiring harness was butchered, the car had constant stability control faults, and the cooling fan ran nonstop.

Owner had already taken it to Mercedes. They removed his tune, charged him, and still misdiagnosed the fan + stability issues.

We went through the car properly:
• Repaired major sections of the harness
• Diagnosed and fixed the stability + fan problems
• Full service — transmission fluid, engine oil, coolant flush
• Installed larger intakes for proper airflow
• Fresh ECU tune + transmission tune

Now the car runs exactly how a C63s should — smooth, fast, and healthy.
