🏋️‍♀️ Squats, Pilates studio style 🙌

@dr.hongjunggi_official shows a knee-friendly squat. At MOA we use the push-through bar for support, so it feels steady but is still a real challenge 💪

❤️Hold the push-through bar for support
❤️Push your hips back and use your glutes

💪Glutes + legs day, kind to your knees! Save this for your next workout 🙌

Dr. Hong is coming to 🇨🇦 soon! Workshop details in my bio 🔗

The *Oh, Nevermind Squat😎 🤝 The Still Waiting Strech 😉

Instructor survival mode, inspired by Dr. Hong’s famous
아니네 (Oh, nevermind) squat! 🙈
Getting my movement in WHENEVER I can!! (틈새 운동 😉)

I honestly love doing this between sessions ❤️ it is the perfect way to reset my body before my next client 💪

😎Can you stand on one leg for 30 seconds?

🪑Level 1: Hold the frame
🆓Level 2: Hands-free
🪢Level 3: Spring resistance
🔥Level 4: Don’t fall in the lake 🦆🌊🍁

⚖️Balance is one of the first things we lose as we age, and one of the easiest to train. Thanks to Movement Snacks @dr.hongjunggi_official for the daily balance challenge that inspired this progression!

Which level are you on today?
Drop 1, 2, 3, or 4 below 👇

⚠️ Safety check 😉 practice near a sturdy wall or counter! Pass on Level 4 unless you’re ready for a cold plunge🌊🤣

🙌 My go-to spine reset between teaching clients!

🤩When Dr. Hong visited MOA this August, we explored the body through clinical theory and biomechanics. I love turning that knowledge into practical movement you can use in everyday life.

🤗I do this between sessions, but you can do it anytime you need a reset.

😉Got a wall and a minute? Give your spine some movement!

Dr. Hong returns to Toronto this December for a hands-on movement experience. 🇨🇦 Stay tuned!

P.S. The Korean foot-care slippers I’m wearing are another little teaching-day essential. 👣 They keep my feet comfortable while I’m teaching 🤍

😎 Even on weekend getaway, there are little moments to move 🙌

Dr. Hong reminds us that 틈새운동 💪 *movement snacks 😉throughout the day* matter!

🚫No studio?
🚫No machines?
No problem! Just move whenever you can 🤩

As a Pilates Master and founder of MOA, I’m always curious about innovative tools that can support better movement, functional mobility, and postural alignment.

When a new movement tool comes my way, my first instinct is to understand how it actually interacts with the body.

Today, I’m unboxing three specialized SNPE posture tools. I’ve briefly explored some of them before, but now I’m taking a deeper look at how their specific shapes and designs may influence thoracic mobility, spinal decompression, and myofascial release.

If a tool or technique has the potential to genuinely support human movement and function, I’m always open to exploring it with a Pilates lens.

Stay tuned for the next videos, where I’ll break down the movement mechanics and share what I discover 📲
