I am learning that filling my cup is not selfish.
It is necessary. Filling my cup means giving myself permission to rest without feeling guilty. It means creating space for the things that bring me joy, peace, and purpose. It means surrounding myself with people who pour into me just as I pour into them.
It means saying no when something no longer serves me and saying yes to the parts of life that make my spirit feel alive.

I am learning to listen to myself more closely. To honor my feelings. To celebrate how far I have come instead of constantly focusing on how far I still have to go.

Sometimes filling my cup looks like quiet mornings, prayer, laughter with the people I love, movement, music, or simply being still. Sometimes it means stepping away from what drains me and choosing peace over proving a point. And sometimes, it means reminding myself that I am worthy of the same love, patience, grace, and compassion that I so freely give to others.
I no longer want to live simply by surviving each day. I want to experience my life fully. I want to feel present, grateful, inspired, and connected to who I am becoming.

Because when my cup is full, I have more love to give. I can show up for others from a place of abundance rather than exhaustion. I can give without losing myself. So, I am choosing to fill my cup intentionally, unapologetically, and with gratitude.

My August love letter 💌

You arrived just perfect , and left my heart a little fuller.

Blessed for growth …
even the kind that came disguised as uncertainty.
Blessed for every lesson, every new beginning,
every door that opened and every closed door that quietly protected me.

August reminded me
that I have so much to be grateful for.
A life still unfolding.
Dreams still waiting for me.
Love surrounding me.
Peace finding me.
And a heart that, despite everything,
still knows how to hope.
So, thank you, August.

For being soft.
For being full.
For being beautiful in ways I’ll carry with me.
I leave this month with a grateful heart,
a peaceful soul, and the deepest understanding that
everything I have is a blessing,
everything I’ve experienced has shaped me,
and everything meant for me
will find me in perfect timing.

The most blessed.
