A fairytale day for Katie & David! ✨

From their stunning vows in our castle chapel to sunset drinks in the courtyard of glass, every moment was pure magic. The celebration continued into the garden pavilion for dinner, followed by gin toasts in the champagne turret and a lively night of ceilidh dancing. It’s safe to say the whisky snug was a favorite spot, and ending the night with a mix of DJ hits and traditional ceilidh tunes kept the energy high until the very last dance. Congratulations to the happy couple!

From Overgrown Ruins to Garden Oasis! 🌿✨ We’ve transformed a once-derelict 225-year-old tennis court — long overrun by weeds and bare soil — into a stunning terrace garden that’s already become a favourite spot on the castle grounds. What started as a tired patch is now alive with colour and purpose: a wood-fired pizza oven and BBQ station for long, delicious evenings, comfy chairs and tables for gathering, and a 30-metre pergola we’re proudly training with climbing plants. From seasonal blooms to newly planted trees, every bed is filling in beautifully. It’s more than landscaping — it’s a new, living asset for the estate that brings people together and honours the site’s history.

Come and enjoy this new space by booking in for Glamping experience, Wedding or a private event. #culdeesrenovation #culdeescastleestate #culdeesglamping #culdeesweddingsandevents #gardenparty 📸 @holeynheritage.photography taken in Culdees Castle Estate by @mobile_measures

“A spectacular day for a spectacular couple! ✨
We are still swooning over Emma and Hamish’s wedding, captured in breathtaking detail by the talented @pacovanleeuwen.nl While Culdees Castle provides the magical backdrop, Paco truly brought every corner of our venue to life.

Local bride Emma and her bridesmaids shared a beautiful morning in our elegant Powder Room before a fairytale horse-drawn carriage whisked them away to the village church. The new Mr. & Mrs. returned to the castle to explore our most unique spaces—from toasts in the Champagne Turret to quiet moments in the Whisky Snug and the mystery of the Castle Dungeon. The night ended in style, dining and dancing under a fairy lit canopy in our Garden Pavilion.

If you’re looking for a venue with character and a photographer who knows how to frame it—look no further.

The forecast of rain this weekend had our enchanting couple whispering wishes for sunshine and embracing the charming old wives’ tale of burying a sausage to summon bright skies.

☀️ It seems their magic has truly worked! They celebrated their love beneath the graceful, whispering trees, sipped champagne in the fairy-tale turret, and dined under a shimmering canopy of twinkling fairy lights.

💖 It was a day brimming with love, cherished friendships, and heartfelt family blessings, creating a truly magical atmosphere.

Congratulations Abbie & William 🍾🥂

A gorgeous day capturing Aimee & Ben at @comriecroftweddings

With a love for the outdoors and nature, we hiked to a waterfall together where A & B did their personal vows to one another before the ceremony.

I absolutely love that they made time for each other in the morning and had that intimate moment just for them.

Caught on digital & 35mm film.

Congratulations to the grooms on their breathtaking wedding day at the castle, where the sun graced the occasion with its warmth!

What a stunning way to start the 2026 season! Rik and Alastair orchestrated an exquisite dinner party before heading upstairs to the chapel for their vows. The romantic candlelit ceremony was overflowing with love, significance, and joy. Cheers to the happy couple! 🥂
