It’s not a shopping addiction if it’s for patient care, right?! 😂💸🦷

RDHs, be honest… how many instruments have you bought just because they came in a cute color? 👀💕

Asking for a friend. 🤭

For decades, clinicians adapted their hands to the instruments. It’s about time the instruments adapted to us. 🙌🦷

Different hand sizes deserve different options — especially in a profession now predominantly women, yet shaped by tools historically built around a very different workforce. This may look like a small change, but ergonomics, comfort, control, and longevity matter every single day we practice.

Design around the clinician — not the other way around. ✨

Hands down, this is one of those little details that makes a BIG difference in clinical care. 💉🦷

PDT offers their aspirating anesthetic syringe in small, medium + large — because our hands are not all the same size, so why are we expected to use the exact same size syringe?

When you’re delivering local anesthesia, control matters. Grip matters. Stability matters. Being able to comfortably aspirate and deliver anesthetic with precision matters.

For me, this goes right back to one of the most basic principles of healthcare: do no harm. The better the instrument fits your hand, the more control you have — and that can directly impact patient comfort, safety, and confidence during delivery.

I’m a huge believer that ergonomics isn’t just about protecting the clinician. It’s also about providing better care for the patient. 👏🏼

Different hands need different tools. Period. 💜

Would you choose a small, medium, or large syringe for your hand? 👇🏼

One of Berkeley’s little hidden treasures. 🍣✨ I’ve been coming to Tokyo Fish Market for years, but definitely don’t make it here nearly as often as I should (or want to). We stopped in for lunch today, they made fresh cucumber maki for us on the spot, everyone picked out something yummy, and it reminded me why I love places like this so much. 🥒🍱🤍 A Berkeley gem since 1963.
