Our newest seasonal menu, created by the illustrious @bmorecavalier, is here! As usual, we’ve got classics, specialty cocktails, and delicious mocktails. We’ve added a low-alcohol menu for nights when you want to stay late without feeling destroyed. So, perhaps you want to rock moderation? We’ve got you.

Today marks 16 years since we started our Friday night swing dance here in Baltimore, about a year and a half before we opened the Ballroom. Small business is no joke; we’ve aged like Obama in his two terms, and we aren’t running a country. What a blessing it is to age in a City and community as special as ours.

Thank you to everyone — then, now, and in between — who has built this community and helped us through the annoyances and heartbreaks of keeping a business going. We are very lucky.

We are lucky to host a lot of cool stuff here at the Ballroom, and the past few months have brought us some amazing new regular events. If you haven't yet, come through this Saturday to check out Boom Selecta by @ainsleyburrowsmighty.

On July 30th Analogue After Dark is BACK. Ditch your cellphone at the door, grab a bite, and hang out like you've never heard of a technocrat! As usual, IT'S FREE. This month's theme: TINKER TIME.

Featured in May's edition of Baltimore Magazine (thanks @baltmag and @laurencohen516!), Analogue After Dark is our latest response to a world of invasive internet, disconnection, and corporations feasting on our attention. Here’s the deal: No cell phones or internet allowed. You will check your cell phone at the door, coat-check style, and spend an evening without a needy, attention-seeking spy buzzing in your pocket.

JULY EDITION: Tinker Time. Do you like to tinker with little things? Maybe you like to fix small electronics? Paint little figurines? Stare at legos for two hours? Bring it all and join us. We will have some tinker supplies available, but we encourage you to bring a project to share.

As usual, no participation in the theme is necessary. Feel free to come eat, drink, and hang without any forced participation (other than not having your phone).

The bar and kitchen will be open. Nervous about someone not being able to reach you in an emergency? We will keep the ballroom phone behind the bar and you can give out that number: (443) 699-3040

Free; two drink minimum highly suggested (so we can keep it going!)
