Who are we?

We are the @mocharoadrunners and we are a parade unit out of the Mocha Shrine Temple in London, Ontario, Canada.

Every member that is active in parades must purchase their own parade car with their own monetary funds. This includes trailering it to parades and all the upkeep, including repairs and maintenance. We use our own personal vehicles for transportation, which again is on our own dime.

We get paid to go into parades. That money we receive goes into our own Mocha Roadrunners bank account. We have an Executive Board with a President, Vice President, Treasurer and Secretary. We donate a couple of times a year from the funds we raise to go towards Shriners Children's Hospital.

We hope you enjoy and smile at what we do because it's for the kids.

The #Mocharoadrunners unit is made up of Shriners from Mocha Temple, located in London, Ontario. Members of this unit have to secure and maintain their own parade cars out of their own personal finances. Our unit members also have to transport the parade car to each parade that is participated in on their own costs.

Our unit's parade fee doesn't cover any of the members personal costs. All the money raised will then be gathered and given as a future donation to the Shriners Childrens Hospital network.

When you see us out there in those parades, know that not only are we giving up our personal time to volunteer and participate, but also our own money to cover the costs of attending. Why? Because it's for helping the kids that need our Shriners medical services.

Look for us at your local area Southwestern Ontario town parade. Unsure if we are attending your local parade? Reach out to your Town parade organizer and have them reach out to get us there!

We are paid to attend the parade and in turn this money goes to us helping our Shriners organization helping sick children.

Give us a like, follow and share. It's all about helping the kids.

Happy Canada Day from the Mocha Roadrunners! 🇨🇦

Lots of laughs, smiles and waves from all those at the @townofstmarys Parade today! We had a blast too!

Our participation in parades is to help raise funds for @shccanada. We do it to help the kids.

Thank you to some parade viewers that let us know about some pictures they took that we could share. We appreciate it!!

@visitstratfordon parade was cancelled due to the weather storm. Sorry to have to miss it. See you next year #StratfordOntario
