Meet the Artist!!✨️
Ellooo!! Thought it was time to do a lil about me post 🫶
I finally decided to start my own art account last year. I felt a lot of anxiety at first, but pushed through it and it’s been an amazing year so far. Thank you everyone for all your support 🥰

I had a few tough years figuring out what I wanted to do in life. I originally studied Korean at uni, but later switched to Game Design because art and games have always been huge passions of mine.
I worked in the design/games industry for a few years, which eventually ended in redundancy 🥲
That same week (at age 29), I was diagnosed with ADHD, which honestly made my life finally make sense. I’m so grateful for all the support I’ve had while learning to navigate it 💖

After feeling mentally burnt out, I decided to switch paths and now work as a Tutor alongside Graphic Design freelancing.
In my spare time, I’ve finally had the chance to focus on my own art and even opened a lil Etsy shop! My other work has been super busy lately, but I’m hoping to make more time for creating new art and products soon 💫🫶

Gaming has always been a huge passion of mine! JRPGs are my fave (especially Final Fantasy), but lately I’ve mostly been playing cozy games on my Steam Deck!
I’ve also really gotten into reading and journaling to help unwind at the end of the day ✨️

Thank you for being part of my art journey so far, and I hope you enjoy what’s still to come 🫶🥰

Cute orange doodles~🍊🧡✨️

I've just come back from a holiday in the warmth, so I thought to draw with a summer colour! I feel orange is a summer colour??

Whilst doing this, I realised there's actually quite a few orange coloured animals✨️ Had to represent cute orange cats 🐈 hehe

I really enjoyed drawing the orange and realised I do love to draw fruits😅

I hope you like this one and that it brings a bit of warmth and cuteness to your day!🫶

Still some more colours to come!!💫

Purple whimsy doodles~💜✨️

I decided on purple for my second Talens sketchbook spread!! Purple didn't feel as vibrant as my green one, so I decided to add splashes of yellow to help it pop more!!

At first I couldn't think of many purple things but realised there are so many beautiful purple flowers!! Such as Hydrangeas and Lavender. Also discovered there are some really pretty purple moths 🥹🥰°☆

I hope you like these doodles! What colour should I do next?✨️

First Talens sketchbook spread💚

Posted a process reel yesterday! Decided to get a new lil sketchbook for more smaller/quick doodles! Had a lot of fun with this green spread!!

Going to work on another colour soon, so keep your eyes peeled 👀

Needed a smaller space to feel less pressure on creating bigger and more detailed illustrations. (I will still be doing these and currently working on one!! Hehe)

(Also used my partner's desk for better lighting, I get barely any natural light at my desk 🥲)

Whimsical lil blueberries~!🫐✨️

Here are some final pics of my blueberries doodle! I really enjoyed getting back into doodling in my sketchbook, it's been too long..

I dealt with bad burnt and art block for a while and the guilt of not posting anything new in ages really ate at me 😔 But realised, we need to take breaks and rest so we can recharge to create more!✨️
After some rest I got motivated again and looking forward to doodling more nature/food themed illustrations next!🫶

(I really need to get a new phone or better lighting set up as I can never capture the colours properly 🥲)

Materials used:
-Prismacolor Premier for outlines and sketch
-Copic Markers for colour base
-Posca Pens & Arrtx Acrylic Markers for colour higlights
-Sakura white gel pens for highlights!
