picking out my own personal glazes! My studio does have options but I was looking for bright colors and I’m so glad i found some! I can’t wait to layer these and see how they turn out!

yarn bowl loading…

I want to share more of the pieces I’ve been working on in class on here to encourage anyone else who has been wanting to take a ceramics course! It’s truly such a great experience and has helped me to much in the past few weeks stay creative. Next up I want to pick out some fun glazes because as of right now I’m not sure what color I’m gonna make these pieces but we’ll see!

⋆✴︎beginner ceramics haul! ˚｡⋆

I’m learning so much each day about throwing, hand building, glazes and everything, but I can’t believe how far I’ve already come in just 5 weeks! I’ll try and share more of the process throughout the semester because it is truly the highlight of my week 🫶

I want to get some brighter glazes and hopefully make more pieces on B Mix instead of speckled clay so the colors show through more easily

the micro shorts 🦋🫧🌊🌀

pattern @loupystudio

This is my second shot at this pattern and I think I did much better this time around! They’re so soft in this @malabrigoyarn dk weight yarn and the blue is one of my favorite shades!

Notes: I downsized my needles to a 3.5 all throughout since I do knit a bit more loosely than the gauge provided, and I sized down from the size 5 in the pattern to a size 4 for a more fitted look. It took me exactly 8 days to complete, so very quick.

almost didn’t fit on our car but we made it work 💪

I love tv and movies so much I’m so glad we can enjoy them from more than our phones now in the apartment :)

As we keep working on building the vibes up I wanna keep making these little videos about the process cus it’s so fun and honestly condensing all the work into 1 minute videos is so satisfying lol, enjoy!

making the new bathroom cozy 🧼

We’re going for a green/brown/jungle vibe! I love the waterproof lamp the most, I have seen so many people with them and they’re definitely worth the hype.

unlocking new parts of the map 🗺️

I’m so excited to have moved out and now be able to go to new yarn store locations! My first stop was Emy’s yarns which I have visited before on a trip a while ago, but they have such a great selection of buttons I needed to come back! Hoping to use them for a new pair of shorts.

A new chapter is ahead ❤️

Moving out, living in my first apartment, and going away to college are all huge changes and I’m so excited for what is to come, getting ready by packing has made me feel a lot less nervous and more so prepared and looking forward to it!
