POV: you meet a fellow small business owner at the market and she casually makes THE BEST flan.

I met Mel from @mochiwks today at @portobellolocalmarket and got to try her homemade flan… and WOW. Silky, creamy, caramel-y perfection. Absolutely unreal.

Even Cornichon was like ME(W)OW

Honestly, this flan is on the same level as my handmade colourful jewellery & accessories… and I don’t say that lightly. @procraftinator.smb

WHAT CAN I GET WITH £20? 💷 - PART 1

Saturday at The Pitt, Edinburgh 👇

🌶️ Option 1 - £18.50:
-Aaloo Chop from @choola_uk - £8
-Falafel & Halloumi Box from @lazeez.ed - £7.50
-Half pint of @barneybeer Stone Throw Lager - £3

The aaloo chops were SO good, packed with flavour, crispy outside and soft & moist inside. Such a different experience!

The falafel & halloumi was tasty, and the falafel was impressively not dry! However, we waited 20 minutes with no warning as it was being cooked from scratch, only for it to arrive lukewarm. Good, but probably not worth the wait.

The Barney’s lager was sweet but not overly so, and really refreshing. 🍺

Swap the beer for a Ferrero Rocher & Pistachio Mochi Doughnut from @mochiwks - £3.75.

🍕 BONUS: The lovely couple beside us shared their Sensommar pizza from @njordrpizza with us and WOW. Fluffy dough, fantastic toppings, and courgette on a pizza isn’t exactly standard, but it worked SO well and was such a brilliant addition! Definitely something I’d have again.
