Proof of life post. It’s been a year but it’s built me into who I want to be more by @mockingdream
Birthday weekend shenanigans! 🎉🥳 A night full of dancing, amazing friends, unforgettable memories, and pure fun! For years, my birthday has always been a bittersweet day for me. For a lot of different reasons, it hasn’t always been something I’ve looked forward to. But this year was different. Getting to bring together so many amazing people from all different walks of my life, from childhood friends who’ve known me for years to the chosen family I’ve been blessed to find along the way, made this birthday truly special. I was reminded just how lucky I am to have such incredible people in my corner. For the first time in a long time, my birthday wasn’t about the things that made the day difficult in years past, but about the people who make life worth celebrating. Thank you to everyone who came out, danced, laughed, and made my 24th birthday one I’ll never forget. Here’s to another trip around the sun and making even more memories! ❤️ by @mockingdream
I used to say that to him every day coming home from work. by @mockingdream
My Nugget/ House Panther/ Void Shadow. You were the luckiest blessing to us all. You’ve been there for every milestone the last almost 20 years. I’m ready for this week to end. We lost our oldest. 19 years and 3 months ago we brought you home. You were found in a 7-Eleven wall screaming your head off abandoned by your family as the runt. My sister and I woke our dad sleeping at noon to ask if we could get a cat and he made a sound and we took that as a yes. He woke up that night and saw you come running down the stairs and said “Where the hell did you come from, when did we get a cat” then almost 20 years of screaming at us for attention and head butting my fist and sticking your head in the cat nip jar we’ve had to say goodbye. I really don’t know what comes next. First Oreo and now you I really don’t know how to feel at this point. All I can cat is you were the luckiest cat because you brought so much joy and sound into our house. We will always love you nugget by @mockingdream
Oreo, you’re the best cat ever. It’s always hard saying goodbye especially since you were the greatest thing Tutu left us. I’m going to miss you monkey. Picking you up pretending you’re a machine gun and dancing around shouting hey there Mr monkey let’s get all funky as I parade you around the house. Poking your toe beans and messing with your monkey chain aka your swooshy tail. The last ten years have been a blessing. You were there for every high and every low. You were there when I met my church family and you were there when everything fell apart. You’ve given me so many laughs and made the hard parts of life better with a nudge and a purr. I remember when we told my grandma we’d take you in after she passes. I remember telling my parents we had to take you in so we could give you a good life and so my grandmother wouldn’t have to worry about you when she’s gone. You are the best cat a guy could have ever asked for and I’m sorry to see you gone. But I firmly believe in heaven and that you’ll be up there with Tutu getting all the scratches and pats you could ever want. You brought so much joy and chaos to our lives it’s going to be weird with you not around anymore. But I believe you’re up there and I know we’ll meet again monkey. We love you Aloha Nui Loa by @mockingdream
Life Update: Took my vacation to go build houses in Mexico and contribute to something greater. This time dragging my best friend with me for the shenanigans. Seeing finished projects from last year, starting new ones, and getting to spend time with these kids, stepping out of my comfort zone playing soccer and almost drowning in the freezing ocean with @coulthin_ was amazing. I don’t know what tomorrow holds let alone next year but I’m excited to see what Gods doing how he’s moving and I’m glad I got to be a part of it. Plus they put tinsel in my beard it looked great. by @mockingdream

I can’t believe it’s been a decade since we’ve lost you. Not a day goes by where I wish I could tell you all the things I’ve learned and about the people I’ve met. From new jobs to new paths God’s taken me down, to new opportunities with a new family of amazing people who taught me to be vulnerable and that it’s ok to let people in while having some of the most fun I’ve had and some of the most meaningful conversations I’ve ever had. I may have done most of the work on myself this last year and a half, and some days it felt like walking through hell with open wounds, but I know that you’re watching down on me as I continue to navigate life. And I know that you’d be proud. Aloha Nui Loa. by @mockingdream
