Love’s Requiem//

Love leaves no victors.
Our bodies lie in its wake.

Now, we know all too well
how to carry heat without burning down the room!
how to hold grief in our hips,
how to make something holy out of what was taken.

This performance is not about romance.

As artists who are pushing and pedaling our experiences, dreams, bodies, ideas, perspectives, and messages into the fiery future, it is vital we have communal spaces for rest, rejuvenation, and healing. Being in communion with those who share that belief is also vital. In May of this year we gracefully bowed out of performance and stepped into our bodies with breath, movement, meditation, and reflection.
