Today was our 2nd Group field trip that we have hosted! We had such an amazing experience at the @intrepidmuseum !

We started off with food by @thedarzeecooks in a reserved eating area of our own.
We knew that children would eat fast so we launched our Space & Ocean themed @sensory_riot buckets so the children could enjoy while parents communicated and bonded!

We had an amazing tour guide that kept the children engaged and answered any questions we had! The museum gave out scavenger hunts & Badges to each child as well!

After our tour we took a little break and ate amazing custom themed cookies by @thetreatshopmiami ✨
We ended off with a 3D movie to space and a visit inside a real submarine!

We traded the daycare for the ultimate sensory adventure today at the Museum of Ice Cream! For our little learners, every single room was a hands-on masterclass in sensory exploration:
Touch: Wading through the legendary sprinkle pool and feeling thousands of colorful textures.

Sight: Exploring vibrant, larger-than-life rooms filled with bold colors and giant playscapes.

Taste & Smell: Sampling sweet treats and guessing all the delicious, sugary aromas.

Watching their eyes light up with pure wonder is exactly why we love planning these special community outings. Days like today prove that the best kind of learning happens when we explore the world together using all five senses! by @modern_schooling

In childcare, I’ve learned that children rarely ask for expensive things.
They ask for connection.

They want someone to sit beside them while they color, hold their hand when they feel unsure, listen to their little stories, and make time for them without rushing.

The moments they remember most are usually the simplest ones — playing outside, collecting flowers, looking at bugs, sharing snacks, laughing together.

Childhood doesn’t need to be filled with luxury to be beautiful.

I’ll always believe the early years of childhood deserve softness, love, patience, and nature before anything else. 🌿

As a provider, my goal was never just to “watch” children — it’s to help them feel safe enough to grow into themselves. To learn through fresh air, messy hands, bugs, flowers, questions, and real experiences.

I believe children thrive when they’re loved deeply in their early years and allowed to explore the world gently before being pushed into structure too quickly. Which is also why I personally believe school becomes more beneficial after the age of six, once their emotional foundation has been nurtured first.

Watching one of my little ones go from being terrified of bugs to proudly holding them in her hands reminded me how powerful patient guidance really is. 🤍 by @modern_schooling

A male fiddler crab waves his major claw rhythmically to attract females and threaten other males, and also uses it to fight other males over burrows where crabs mate and breed. We got to see both male & female fiddler crabs during our home schooling today!❤️ by @modern_schooling

At the beach, rocks can be covered with a variety of organisms, including algae, lichens, barnacles, and mussels. These organisms can be found in the intertidal zone, where they are submerged at high tide and exposed at low tide.
They grow on horse shoe crabs too! by @modern_schooling
