A look back at our @modernadventurists trip to Emilia Romagna. The first half of our trip we explored Bologna and the neighboring town of Modena. It was instantly clear why this region is considered Italy’s Food Valley. Everything you love - Parmigiano, Balsamic, Mortadella, Prosciutto - you’ll find it all here. But you’ll also get lost in the architecture, the colors, and the history. And without a doubt, the tortellini in brodo. This trip, and our exploration of the culture and cuisines of Northern Italy, was every bit as delicious and transformative as it looks. This is the 3rd Modern Adventure @michael.gallina and I have taken and this one took the cake for our favorite yet.
