"Introvert with center Courtyard as the heart of the House"

Pic: the slidable Screen, over Upper living space

Conceptually the house consist of 2 massing, Guest pavilion as public and Living pavilion as the main house. In between is the open courtyard where every activity will go pass this courtyard to connect between Guest and Living Pavilion

Guest pavilion is located at the front part, with more massive material and less opening, where the opposite Living pavilion is located at the rear portion with maximum opening towards the center of the house - the courtyard

Natural color of cement, white wall, composed with exposed structural steel column, provide neutral space for the owner of the house to later fulfill the interior to create their own sanctuary and 'HOME'

PRELIMINARY DESIGN of RETREAT VILLAS at TABANAN, BALI
A beachfront villa at Tabanan, composed of private residences and intimate family units with direct beach access. The spatial sequence moves from garden to shaded courtyards defined by tall trees, creating a layered transition of privacy.

Architecture dissolves indoor–outdoor boundaries through open plans, courtyards, and private pools, all oriented toward the sea—capturing uninterrupted views and the changing light of the sunset.
