Ramadan Mubarak 🌙🤲🏾. This is my first Ramadan. There’s so much to learn, and I’m grateful to be part of @innercirclemw the Inner Circle for Muslim women. I’m part of a group that supports me through my struggles. I’m part of a space where I’m able to learn through halaqahs and courses focused on self-improvement while teaching us how to grow closer to our Deen. I’m part of a community that shares openly and honestly, so when I start to feel alone on this journey, I’m reminded that I’m not.

Even during times when I’ve taken a break, whenever I return, there’s always something to look forward to…a reminder, a lesson, a conversation, a workout or workshop that pulls me back and strengthens my intention so that my heart stays aligned with Allah.

May this Ramadan be one that softens my heart, strengthens my discipline, increases my knowledge, and deepens my relationship with Allah. May it be a Ramadan of healing, growth, clarity, and sincere worship. May I leave it better than I entered it. May I be more grounded in faith, more content with what Allah has written for me, and more committed to becoming the woman He is shaping me to be. Ameen. 🤲🏾

Seasons don’t ask permission to change, they just do. SubhanAllah neither did my soul. With every changing season, Allah was guiding me closer. One of the most meaningful changes I made this year was embracing Islam and with it, a deeper sense of purpose, peace, and surrender.

One of those changes was wearing the hijab. I don’t wear it 100% of the time, but when I do, it’s a reminder that I’m part of something beautiful, something Allah guided me toward.

One of the girlies from @innercirclemw shared this quote:
“My hijab doesn’t signify my level of righteousness, but rather, it signifies that when my imaan is low, I still belong to Islam.”

The hijab is not a scoreboard for my faith. Faith rises and falls, and Allah knows that. It’s not about being perfect or having it all figured out. Even on days when imaan feels low, when I’m struggling, growing, or not where I want to be spiritually, wearing the hijab is a reminder that I am still connected to the Creator. It’s a reminder of my relationship with God.

Alhamdulillah for seasons. Alhamdulillah for the journey. 🤍

Just wanted to share a heartfelt experience I had recently with the Fith community now called @innercirclemw & I was reminded that even in moments of heaviness, we’re never truly alone. Grateful for the Fith community and the beautiful support from my sisters 🤍 I truly appreciate you all. Alhamdulillah

Rely upon Allah. “Indeed, Allah loves those who rely upon Him” (Surah Aal-e-Imran 3:159)
1) Tawakkul doesn’t mean sitting back and doing nothing. We still plan, prepare, and take action.

2) After we’ve done our best, we leave the outcome to Allah, knowing His plan is always better than ours.

3)Reliance on Allah removes fear and anxiety because we believe nothing happens except by His will.
