Massive shout out to Zade from Modified and Driven Fabrication! Got us out of trouble on a job this week where the control arm bolts were seized and the adjusting tabs broken from previous weld job. This crack in the stainless cyclone vacume tank was severely damping this vac trucks efficiency so we cam out out side of normal hours and got it tig welded back up
keeping the truck out on site making money by @modifiedanddriven_fab

LAST NIGHT WAS BIGGER THAN JUST AN OPEN DAY. 🖤

It was the team who built it.
The customers who backed it.
The vendors who helped bring it to life.
The families, friends and car community who absolutely packed the place out.
We were hoping for a few people to come along, and it turned into hundred’s 🤯

Standing there and looking at that complex full was one of those moments we’ll remember for a long time.

🔧 FROM OFF-THE-SHELF TO SOMETHING DIFFERENT 🔥

After fitting an off-the-shelf exhaust system, this customer decided they wanted something a little different for the rear — so that’s where we came in.

We modified the existing system to a twin rear setup, exiting out both sides of the vehicle. This required modifying and cutting the rear bar to suit the new exhaust layout.

We fitted a pair of Growl mufflers, then finished it off with a set of custom-made exhaust tips, fabricated specifically to suit the new bumper cut-outs perfectly.

To top it all off, the tips were passivated after welding to remove the oxide layer, leaving them with a clean, polished finish that ties the whole setup together. 👌

🔒 A simple upgrade to make a bloody big difference

This truck had already had the factory whale-tail lock busted open, so the job was to come up with a stronger and more practical way of securing each compartment.

We fabricated and fitted custom padlock tabs to every door, giving each compartment its own solid locking point and making it a hell of a lot harder to simply force the doors open.

Sometimes the best solution isn't complicated🔧

2" bonnet-exit screamer pipe on this Toyota Mark II 🔥

Custom fabricated with a stainless steel dress ring on both the inside and outside of the bonnet, finished off with a custom heat shield to help protect the surrounding components from the heat.

Clean, functional and built specifically to suit the car — not just a hole cut in the bonnet. 👌

Gate upgrade without replacing the existing posts 🔧

Fabricated and welded custom mounting plates to suit the electronic worm-drive gates openers increasing the post width to 100mm without having to replace the existing posts.

We then hung and installed the gates, ready for actuators instal
