Watching the Super Bowl performance was so inspiring for me. My mom is Puerto Rican so it made the show even more special. My hope is that we can all live together in a much different world than what we are currently experiencing today. I can't wait for that to happen soon!

Done being silent! What is happening in our country right now is terrifying and wrong. The government has blood on their hands and we, the people, can see it 💔
‼️
Symbolism of this collage . . .
Lower case font for the word ice - because ice makes themselves small by hiding behind masks and treating people inhumanely. I didn't want to use all caps because that would make ice seem important
‼️
Sharp shaped ice lettering - because ice is dangerous
‼️
Melting ice cube - because we want ice to vanish, dissolve, disappear
‼️
White fluff behind ice - because ice is fueled by a government that supports racism and white supremacy
‼️
Stained glass area - to represent the Christian nationalism that is trying to be enforced by the government
‼️
Pool of blood at bottom - because of the horrifying & senseless murders ice has committed
‼️

Hello August, hang around awhile 🌞💙
.
Here's a few detail shots of Garden Candy Escape I finished back in May. I lingered a bit on this one as I had to step away from it at times and then decided to add glitter and crystals. It took me a whole year to finish! It definitely helped me get thru a few difficult times and it felt good to get lost in the process. I didn't want it to end. It's a problem! 🥴

Candlestick painting for plant pots 🪴
.
Gift for someone special. I'll be making more of these, but this is my first. I usually use these to lift my plants at different heights for outside and indoors. I've been wanting to try painting one so there ya go...
.
Let me know what you think or if you want one 😊

Details of new work 🩵💚🤍💖💜
.
Started this one back in April. I think it's done, I'll have to let it sit for a bit. Thinking about adding glitter. Lots of fun details to look at. Definitely a happy painting! 😃

Quick digital doodle done on my iPhone this morning while on the 2.5 hour ride from Lake Havasu to the Las Vegas airport. 🌵🩵
.
I got to enjoy lots of hot sunshine and time with my Dad this past week. Thankful for summer, my favorite time of year. 😊
.
Missed painting though, can't wait to finish the one I'm working on when I get back home.
.
Digital painting on iPhone 13 with my finger. Abstract design with no worries about outcome or perfection. 💚
