A day to remember✨

On October 15, our students stepped beyond the classroom to explore what comes next, both in their careers and in the world around them.

At Career Day, they connected with industry professionals, discovered new opportunities, and took steps towards their future careers. At Innovation Night at weXelerate, they explored the questions shaping tomorrow, from AI and cybersecurity to the future of our data.

Two events, one shared purpose: connecting education with the world beyond it. At Modul University Vienna, we believe that preparing for the future means more than acquiring knowledge. It means learning to ask better questions, build meaningful connections, and approach real-world challenges with curiosity and confidence.

Because the future isn’t something our students simply prepare for. It’s something they have the opportunity to shape💙

Some of the best moment at MU are the ones we get to celebrate together✨ At our Spring 2026 Dean’s List Reception, we recognised our undergraduate and graduate students whose hard work and commitment earned them a place on the Dean’s List.

Congratulations to all of the students! We are proud to have you as a part of our community and celebrate this achievement with you❤️

Building more than just LEGO at MU❤️

Starting somewhere new can feel a little overwhelming, so our Buddy Program is here to make sure new students don’t have to find their place alone.

At out LEGO session, new students and their MU Buddies came together to build, create, laugh, and get to know each other.

Because the MU community is more than a campus or a classroom. It’s the people you meet, the friendships you build, and the feeling that you have a place here.

Welcome to MU, Modulians!💙

Sometimes, it starts at a school visit. At a university fair. Or with a parent asking the question behind so many study-abroad decisions: “Will my child feel at home here?”

That is why our recruitment team is on the road, meeting students, families and school partners around the world. We bring a little of Modul University Vienna with us: a warm welcome, time for your questions, and a personal conversation about what comes next.

We talk about choosing a degree, preparing for the move, and finding your place in an international community on Vienna’s Kahlenberg. We also share what that community can open up: meeting employers at Career Days, exchanging ideas with entrepreneurs at Innovation Nights, and learning alongside people whose experiences bring new perspectives to your own.

To the schools, counsellors and education partners who welcome us: thank you for helping us make these first connections. And to every student and parent we meet: your questions matter, and the conversation can continue long after the fair ends.

Meet us on the road. Get to know us in Vienna.

Who should be responsible for protecting us as digital threats evolve?

AI is making scams more convincing. Personal AI tools are gaining access to more of our data. Organisations are becoming increasingly dependent on digital infrastructure they may not fully control. And some cybersecurity risks require action long before they become urgent.

At the next MU Innovation Night, well explore these questions through the lens of AI, cybersecurity and the future of our data.

From everyday phishing and personal AI assistants to digital sovereignty, privacy and “harvest now, decrypt later”, the discussion will look at what individuals, companies, technology providers and governments can realistically do, and where responsibility starts to overlap.
