25 years ago, I was getting ready for my second week as a freshman in high school when we watched a day unfold that would forever change and shape our lives.
At 15 years old, it was hard to comprehend the magnitude of the evil and heartbreak we witnessed that day. It was impossible to fully understand how, in a matter of moments, so many innocent lives could be taken and so many families changed forever.
But what I also remember, just as vividly, is what happened in the hours, days, and weeks that followed.
I remember the unity.
In my city, in New York, across our country, and around the world, people came together. We weren’t divided by politics, beliefs, backgrounds, or differences. We were simply human beings taking care of one another.
We helped our neighbors. We helped strangers. We donated blood, food, supplies, time, and whatever else we had to give. First responders ran toward unimaginable danger while others were running away. Communities gathered together, mourned together, prayed together, and stood beside people they had never met.
In the face of unimaginable hatred, we answered with humanity.
Twenty-five years later, I find myself thinking not only about the lives that were taken far too soon, but also about that sense of unity we found in one another afterward. I wish it didn’t take tragedy for us to remember how much more connects us than divides us.
Today, I remember the 2,977 precious lives lost on September 11, 2001, their families who have carried that loss for 25 years, the survivors, the first responders, and all those whose lives were forever changed.
May we never forget them.
And may we never forget who we were for one another in the days that followed.
25 years later, that may be one of the most important things worth remembering. 🇺🇸

It’s been 30 years since we’ve celebrated your birthday, Grandma. I often think about all those years and imagine what they could have been, while feeling so incredibly thankful for the years we did have with you.
You’ve never been far from my heart, and I know you’re never far from the decisions I make. I carry your love, your memory, and the lessons you gave me every day.

Happy Birthday, Grandma. I hope you’re celebrating among the stars today. ✨❤️ by @moe_1006

Happy Pride Month. ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜
There was a time when being who I am felt like something I needed to explain, defend, or hide. Today, I get to live openly, love openly, and build a life I’m proud of.
I’m grateful for every person who paved the way, every friend who stood beside me, and every version of myself that refused to give up.
Here’s to love, authenticity, and being exactly who you are. by @moe_1006

The woman I am today owes everything to the girl who kept showing up. The one who survived the things she never talked about, carried more than anyone knew, and still chose to believe in herself. I’ll always be grateful for her resilience, because it built this life. ✨ by @moe_1006

GRAMMY WEEK, SERVED. 🎶
From early-morning coffees to late-night celebrations, we had the honor of managing hospitality across one of the most dynamic weeks in music.
Multiple events. Thousands of guests. Seamless execution.
This week was about precision, pacing, and creating elevated experiences for artists, executives, and creatives from around the world — all while keeping the energy high and the details flawless.
Grateful for the trust, the collaboration, and the magic that happens when hospitality meets production at the highest level.

Rest easy, Grandpa.
While we weren’t as close as we could have been, I’ve come to understand how much of you lives on in the incredible women you raised—especially my mom and my aunts—who shaped me into who I am today. That alone is a gift I’ll always be grateful for.

Being your first grandchild, gave me years in your orbit—years filled with stories, moments, and lessons that have quietly stayed with me. And when I chose to attend and graduate from your alma mater, one of the highlights was being able to share those conversations with you—bridging generations over a place we both called home.

I’m posting this photo of you and Grandma from her prom. Though it’s been over six decades since your paths parted, and nearly 30 years since she left us, I like to think she’s the first one showing you around heaven right now.

Keep watching over us down here. We’ll keep carrying the best parts of you forward.

Happy Pride Month 🌈

As Pride begins, I’m reminded that this month is about more than rainbows and celebration — it’s about honoring the strength, resilience, and beauty of the LGBTQ+ community. It’s about remembering those who came before us, those still fighting for equality, and those who are still finding the courage to live authentically.

For me, Pride is personal. It’s a reminder of the power in being seen, the joy in being known, and the responsibility to keep pushing for a world that is safe and welcoming for all of us — not just in June, but every single day.

Whether you’re out and proud, questioning, or quietly figuring things out — you belong. You are loved. And you are never alone.

Let’s celebrate love, amplify voices, and stand together — in joy, in protest, and in pride. 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

Sometimes our holiday seasons look a little different! While this year I didn’t get to decorate or do a tree, we didn’t celebrate a “normal” Christmas, but I got to do so much more. Helped curate one of a kind of events, spend time laughing until it hurt with amazing friends and took a quick trip to round out the holiday! While they aren’t always what we ask for, sometimes it is what we need. I was reminded today on my flight how sometimes a small gesture of kindness can change someone’s day! As we head into a new year - I hope we all can spread a little more love and kindness. Merry Christmas Eve! 🎄🎅 by @moe_1006
