The Pillar of Autumn ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I don't know how many times I've walked past this line, telling myself, "One day..."

Today was that day 🤯

Without a doubt one of the most beautiful lines I've climbed in Magic Wood so far. A fun and engaging opening sequence leads into a mental battle of a top-out on big holds with long, committing moves.

The kind of climb that reminds you why you love bouldering in the first place.

Finally, I managed to top out a boulder 🥳

Séance — what a beautiful climb 😍

My Rocklands trip didn’t quite start the way I had hoped. Right after arriving, I got hit by a nasty man flu and ended up spending the first week in bed. As a result, I only managed four climbing days during my first two weeks here.

Luckily, South Africa has so much more to offer than just world-class boulders. Even with being sick and unable to climb much, I was still able to enjoy my time here and make the most of the experience.

Sending Séance was a very special moment. The whole crew was there supporting me, and to make things even more exciting, a rain front was forecast for later that day. After my third attempt, it actually started to rain. Following a short break, I decided to give it one last desperate try.

With light rain falling and the top jug covered, I pulled onto the boulder once more—and shortly afterwards, I found myself standing on top 🥳🔥

Marrakesch ✅

Kleiner Boulder mit überraschend schönen Zügen – Heel Hooks, Toe Hooks und zwischendurch ein bisschen Ballern an richtig angenehmen Griffen.
Es hat unglaublich viel Spaß gemacht, mir die Züge Schritt für Schritt zu erarbeiten. Umso glücklicher bin ich, dass ich mich am Ende auch noch mit dem Top belohnen konnte 🥳 taken in Sustenpass by @moe_schmi

Georgien 🇬🇪

Nicht größer als unser Bayern, aber so vielfältig und abwechslungsreich wie man es sich nicht vorstellen kann.
In jede Himmelsrichtung die man fährt, zeigt sich Georgien mit neuem Gesicht.
Eine Weinkultur fast so alt wie die Menschheit selbst – seit über 8.000 Jahren wird dort Wein getrunken.
So viel Gastfreundschaft, Hilfsbereitschaft und Herzlichkeit hab ich selten auf meinen Reisen erlebt.
Es war eine unglaublich schöne Erfahrung, das Land und die Leute kennen zu lernen.
