Today was extra special for the #BettiesBunch! 💕 We celebrated International Dot Day with a very special guest reader. Dr. Aquanda West, General Manager of Hampton Inn, once sat in a classroom as a Burroughs Tiger and today came back to inspire students🥹📚
She shared the story and even surprised them with a special treat! 🍪❤️From being a student to becoming a leader to coming back to inspire little minds. THAT is making your mark! A huge THANK YOU to Mr. Hill! One of Burroughs very own former students, who has grown up to become a successful trucking company owner. He recently blessed my first-grade class by donating snacks and juices for my students. There is something so special about seeing former students grow, succeed, and come back to pour into the very school that helped shape them.❤️It truly is a full-circle moment!
