And that’s a wrap folks! The last bud heavy has been served to one of the the old school of the old school crowd. We love ya denver! Come see us in Englewood. by @moesbbqdenver
10 and a half years ago on a sunny day in May, I worked opening day of this restaurant with the legendary @iamsamalamadingdong with no idea what sort of adventure I was about to embark on. Moe’s is the most dysfunctional family you NEVER want to be with out. That goes for us as staff, and for many of you customers. It has been our pleasure to provide you with the best damn bbq and friendship we could muster. I hope if you come by today, it won’t be just for our specials. But swipe right a few times and you’ll find them. But mostly, if you come by today you’ll get some love and tears and heartfelt goodbyes. If we aren’t crying it’s just because we’re laughing so we don’t. I worked the first shift, and I’ll work the last. Full circle. I couldn’t be prouder of the recipient of the last ten years of my work. by @moesbbqdenver
We want to thank our customers from the bottom of our heart for supporting us all these years. We have fed you through weddings, funerals and babies being born. We have nourished you at concerts, festivals and civic center eats. We have hosted you for group happy hours and a quiet drink after a long shift. We have loved on your puppies and kiddos. We will miss the crews of doctors and nurses, construction workers and teachers who laugh their way through lunch hours with us. We’ll even miss hectic lunch hour deliveries to downtown sky scrapers when all we have to work with is metered parking 😂. Please come by and let us thank you in person! And please please come visit us at our Englewood location so it doesn’t have to be goodbye. #moesdenver #wereallinthistogether. #westillhere for three more days. by @moesbbqdenver
Need food for 15 people tout suite? No problem. #moesdenver #crusingit #feedthemasses #catering by @moesbbqdenver
What are Hoppin’ John’s you might ask? Or, you most certainly will ask according to my experience at the register. They are black eyed peas cooked up with onions, roasted peppers, celery and hot link in a heart warming chicken broth, served over rice. If that ain’t the comfort food you need to get you through this “please be patient” election, swipe right to see our stellar line up of offerings. And, it’s fried chicken Wednesday!! by @moesbbqdenver
What do these three masked faces have in common? We’ve all been with Moe’s for more than a decade. You couldn’t be in better hands. And in case no one’s told you yet, it’s Election Day!!! Come on by for some killer bbq and a free beer for voters. #wereallinthistogether #staysafedenver #staysanedenver by @moesbbqdenver
One more day and then we can have our internet back. And, one more day of free beer for people coming from the polls! Swing by Moe’s for a celebratory Moe’s Lager with purchase of your meal. Let’s sit through this sh!t storm together tomorrow. (Don’t drink beer? Grab a free soft drink instead.) #getoutthevote #makehistory #grabembytheballotbox #stresseat #drinkawayyourtroubles by @moesbbqdenver
Anybody who doesn’t think bbq is a Halloween food obviously hasn’t ever made a dead body out of tasty meats for your guests to feast on. Well, I have. Or at least I’ve helped make that dream come true for others. And it’s not too late for you! Give me a call and I’ll get you some tasty body parts for a spooky good time tomorrow. 303-951-6703 by @moesbbqdenver
All you procrastinators, raise your hand 🙋‍♀️. If you were planning on mailing in your ballot, you’re too late! It is now time to find your drop off location. But, the good news is, good things come to those who wait. Because now, when you drop off your ballot you can head straight to Moe’s for dinner and a free drink. Let us toast to you for making a difference this year and for years to come. #getoutthevote #grabyourfuturebytheballotbox by @moesbbqdenver
Good morning and happy Wednesday! You know what that means! Fried chicken!!! But that’s not all! We’ve also got smoked whole chickens, pulled chicken, chicken tenders, smoked wings, and chicken and corn chowder...were like the Bubba Gumps of chicken around here. These #lovebirds are ready and waiting for you. And don’t worry, if you’re not in the mood for chicken, we’ve got troves of other smoked meats and classic southern sides to tickle your fancy. by @moesbbqdenver
Poor Boss, stuck here all day with a couple of soulless gingers. Send help! Or at least come say hi. We’ve got rib sammies today and a spattering of belly warmin’ sides. The sun is out, roads are cleared, and we’ve only been allowing 25% capacity anyway, so we are still, as always, Covid safe. #westillhere #socialdistancingrestaurant by @moesbbqdenver
Anyone else’s snow day turn into a remote learning day? Oh 2020, you really can ruin anything. Let us take dinner off your plate at least! Have Moe’s delivered, or place an order online or by phone if you need an excuse to get out of the house today. We know the deal, offer to get the take out and have a beer while you wait! #parentinghack #2020parent #snowday by @moesbbqdenver
