I’m catching up on my posting schedule, so here’s a look back at some of the things I got up to this summer.

I tried yarn weaving and flower arranging at this art and community day. Both are harder than they look!

I’ve been documenting my offline activities on my vlog, and this summer I also started journalling on Substack as a way to document this chapter of my life.

My London Life, Part 4 | Content shoot featuring Angela (@trendmaison ) for Vlisco 📸

It has been a while since I picked up my camera to take still photos. I’ve become so accustomed to shooting short video clips for social media that I’ve almost forgotten how much I love photography.

So, of course, I jumped at the chance to shoot for Angela. I was nervous because I’m so out of practice, but I ended up really enjoying the day.

📸 All photography was shot on my Sony Z1 camera and iPhone 17 Pro.

London Life | The Story at the National Theatre

As part of my London Offline series, we took a midweek trip to the National Theatre to see The Story.

Without giving away any spoilers, it’s a whodunnit that will have you guessing until the very end, while touching on Black identity and the role of the media.

Written by Tracey Scott Wilson and directed by Clint Dyer, with a cast including Letitia Wright, Ashley Thomas, Lorraine Toussaint and Wilf Scolding.

The production quality was amazing and we were fully immersed in the story.

We sat in the Upper Circle and, although very high, we had a great view.

🎟️ Tickets from £30, with concessions available.
📍 The National Theatre, Southbank, London

Not too bad for a midweek outing.
