🌿🌱 VINES IS OFFICIALLY OUT 🌿🌱

This release sneaked up on me (and that’s on ADHD & needing a team 👀) but the minute I realized that Vines had gone live, my shoulders automatically relaxed. I felt a calm wash over me with splashes of excitement and pride. I screamed, laughed, cried and then I went to bed 😂

Waking up to a flood of texts & DMs with messages of love & support made me cry all over again so THANK YOU. Thank you for listening. Thank you for your patience. Thank you for understanding that I am a bit of a slow burn but fear not as this is the first of many songs of mine to come.

For now though, it’s her time to shine ✨🌱

To the team that made this possible: I LOVE YOU ALL. The first iteration of this song was recorded with the one and only @bobbywooten3 at NYU for his production class in 2023. When I then brought it to @calehawkins to reimagine, he combined the live elements from that session- foundations laid by my wonderful pals listed below- with his unbelievable, wizard-like talent in the studio and created a world to live in for 3 minutes & 27 seconds. Cale, thank you for embarking on this journey with me. You’re the GOAT!!!

•Produced by @calehawkins
•Mixed & mastered by @mix_by_matt_sim
•Co-writer @sonnystep
•Hints of some of my favorite musicians:
Guitar- @asherkurtz_music
Drum fills- @jordanrosedrums
Bass licks- @jusgold1
•Horn arrangement & saxophone- @samgreenfieldmusic
Trumpet- @lessievtrumpet
Trombone- @marielbildsten

THANK YOU X 1 MILLION 💚

Now, enjoy Vines 🌿 by @mofro11

Welp, I did a thing! I sent in my submission for the 2026 NPR Tiny Desk Contest!!!

Full video is on YouTube (link in bio) ⬆️

I wrote “Proof of Life” last spring while searching for answers about the state of the world & the fate of humanity. It’s my post-apocalyptic journal entry, if you will. Though seemingly dark at first, this song is really about maintaining hope & being brave in the face of adversity & strife. It’s a reminder that there is light at the end of the tunnel. This song is also unreleased so this is a sneak peek at what to expect on the record.

Huge thanks to my incredible team for making this video possible & bringing this song to life:

@smithsoneon - cajon + vox
@ekovizionmeusik - upright bass
@cellosasha - cello + string arr.
@melaninviolin18 - violin
@asherkurtz_music - audio + mixing engineer
@frankieleroux - videographer + editor
@hejuliano - 1st AC
@1daniyyy - 2nd AC
@jordanrosedrums + @__julesrose__ - set design
@lilys.place.nyc - location

PLZ tag @nprmusic , send it around, watch the full video on @youtube & keep supporting indie artists!!!

The US/Canada leg may be finished but I’m still not over singing at MSG *four nights in a row* lol sorry, what do you MEEAAN??? So proud to have joined the ranks of friends, band mates, contemporaries, icons & influences who’ve walked those hallowed halls, esp with this bunch. Doing so with loved ones there meant the most though (and it always will). I’ll never forget those shows & that magical NYC energy 💙🧡 best homecoming ever! by @mofro11
