It’s crazy to think that I have had this chair in the works for seven years. The first sketch happened late at night with a cocktail while listening to this song for the very first time. Something about these sounds just lit up my brain with these sexy paths and shapes. It took us to China to meet a really wonderful family run factory that worked through all the kinks with us. It was paused and resumed countless times while moving a business to a different city and navigating a pandemic. It has had too many ETA’s to count, but I am still so grateful to finally have the chairs here. I’m grateful that I still love the design. Im grateful for inspiring music that made me feel like I was truly making something original. I’m grateful for @mogleameg and her never-ending support. Im grateful for the team at Moglea for always being excited about this project. I’m grateful to get to do what I love even if it’s not as often as I’d like and even if the projects take seven years🙂. I’m incredibly grateful for everyone’s encouragement and especially for everyone who has already purchased a Francis chair. Here’s to many more furniture pieces in the future!!! by @mogleachad

After three years of reworks, pauses, delays, and frustrations we are finally in the final stages of our first chair making some last minute tweaks on upholstery and assembly. Can’t wait to get this thing up for sale! by @mogleachad

We are selling Moglea’s first studio building in Audubon, IA. This is sad for us, but we’re excited to see it become someone else’s home or business.
