Medal Monday 🏅 + Sydney signs part 2 ✨️

What a privilege to get to do my 2nd marathon right this time. Although self-doubt and fear of bonking creeped in the second half (I only trained for race pace up to a half-mary 😆), I'm so happy I did everything else right. Still much to improve on (especially the mental prep 😆), but there's always time 🤍

To those who helped me prep better, TYSM:
- coach @runningseannahswift, my form and cadence are WAAAY better; happy I started my program right with you
- coach @martin_kvm for adjusting my leg workouts for running (and patience sa setback sa cali skills HAHA)
- @franciscasala.ptrp NO INJURIES TENKYU; additional plyos helped so much too! Will miss our almost weekly catch-ups 😆
- @updreamers trailulus, cross-training sa ahon and your words of encouragement mean a lot 🫶🏽
- @crossfitlakan for the welcoming space for me to train kahit may class (at bigla akong tumatalon-talon na para bang kangaroo sa likod 😆)
- @the.calimovement fam forda support always, all ways 🤍
- @jvnrqz_ and @genebeeee, thank you for cheering us on!! 🥹🫶🏽 so happy to have spent time with you guys as well

9 years of calisthenics and it never gets old. I may have started not so seriously, but it's the core principles, better mindset, and the community that make me stay 🤍 Thanks @the.calimovement for always raising the bar and fostering that good energy all around ✨️ First ever cali compet, but everyone's just there to cheer each other on ❤️‍🔥

Thanks duo partner @erick_chua; not last place was the goal, but an A-game mindset and strategy took us there 😤 Another thing about calisthenics--you learn that discipline trumps motivation. Just keep showing up for yourself ❤️‍🔥 The rest will follow.

Threshold 5000; what an experience. As our co-team captain said, "Forget about everything else and soak it all in."

I'm only a beginner runner and just learning the technical stuff, so I'm so grateful to the @updreamers for the opportunity to represent the club. So grateful and humbled, and excited as there's more to learn.

At our marathoners' celebration last weekend, @erick_chua being my run dad asked me about specifics (my run and walk pace, strategy, etc) but I couldn't answer anything 🤣 I was just being ✨️in the moment✨️, and the photos definitely show it. My only strategy was to think of it as just another day that sometimes I still can't believe I did it. 😅
