People don’t have to think about you. They don’t have to go out of their way. You don’t have to be on someone’s mind. No one has to consider another person, however, for everyone who took the time out of their day to recognize me on my birthday Monday, I’m grateful.
I’m moved by the numerous post, text, acts of kindness, the gifts, the phone calls, the hugs, the ones that stopped by…the ones that had me on their mind.
You didn’t have to but you did. Thank you.❤️

🚨long post alert 🚨

Today is my mother’s 73rd birthday! Today, I am more grateful than anything for the woman who gave me life.
Looking back over it, a year ago, a day after her birthday last year…my mother lay unconscious to the world around her. Ventilator breathing for her and every bone in her beautiful face broken. Every single one. She had been in a car wreck while heading to a doctor’s appointment in Little Rock. The jaws of life cut my mother who was a passenger in the vehicle, out of the car.
11 days she spent at UAMS and she still can’t tell you what happened. She knows that her and my step dad left to go to LR however she can’t tell you anything else.
They always say, you don’t miss something until it’s gone. I realized you don’t realize the weight of someone’s presence until God shows you He can remove them.
God granted my mother grace. Encamped his angels around her.
I’ve seen my mother go through so much so many times.i won’t be naive and think she did it on her own. I know it was God. God brought her through breast cancer, heart failure, a near fatal wreck and I trust he’ll continue to carry her through. I thank God for my personal superhero.
She likes to call me her star, however a star is nothing without the sky, and she is mine.
Thank God for allowing her to see this day. For keeping her this far. It was ALL necessary. Happy birthday to my beloved❤️Deborah Snowden Montgomery by @mohipz

I was there when he was born. Now he’s 17! Happiest birthday to my nephew Jeremiah. He is the smartest most humble kid I know. My Aunt calls him the Professor, rightfully so lol. I hope this trip around the sun is the best yet kiddo. I love you BIG by @mohipz
