Meet Franz!! - Lovingly brought to life after our speciality ‘franzbrötchen’ 🥐 Hailing from the Hamburg area, franzbrötchen is similar to croissant pastry with cinnamon and sugar and covered with nutella. Very moorish, very rich! After 4 years living in Hamburg, our owner Liam knew these were something to bring back to Yorkshire.. which also leads us onto the name - Moin Moin - a friendly greeting, a bit like ‘ey up’ used in Northern Germany! #franzandfriends #franzbrotchen #moinmoin #ilkley #bakery #croissant #baking by @moinmoinbakery
We’ve been looking at ways to improve our coffee offering. Firstly I’m proud to announce we have two fully trained baristas on the team. Feel free to come try your most complicated coffee order with them ☕️ Secondly something we have been planning for 2 years and finally got round to. We can now introduce our hot drinks loyalty card. As always we are continuing to use @casa.coffeeroasters Charlestown blend and their in house hot chocolate. #ilkley #loyalty by @moinmoinbakery
Latte Papas returns this Saturday (19th Sept) after our short summer break. All dads and children welcome for a free coffee & pastry. We will be meeting at the Ilkley shop at 10.30 for a short walk to the park to let the kids run riot. We hope to see you there. #lattepapas #ilkley #dads by @moinmoinbakery
Big News for the Pastry lovers! 🥐 We will now be permanently stocking Almond Croissants & Butter Croissants from the amazing @moinmoinbakery on Saturdays at Skipton…. Come join our friendly team! ✨ we’re looking for a customer service superstar with barista skills to join our Ilkley cafe team 3 days a week! Please share and message if this sounds like you. ☕️ @discoverilkleyls29 @ilkleychat @onward.brews @casa.coffeeroasters by @moinmoinbakery
Another great week in both Ilkley & Rawdon. Selling out of Fruit crumble danishes in record time, which is probably a sign of things to come with the cooler temperatures approaching. We managed to nap of couple of Nutella Franz for our Sunday treat. Thanks again and have a great weekend. #ilkley #coffee by @moinmoinbakery
A big thanks to everyone who came out today and wiped us out of Bread & Pasties at double speed. We’ll be sure to make more next week. Especially the Pain Suisse connoisseurs. We’re back on Tuesday with all the family favourites. Have a great weekend everyone. #ilkley by @moinmoinbakery
This Saturday is Yorkshire day! 🌳 There’s loads going on in Ilkley along the grove organised by @olicanaevents with live music but why not pop down beforehand for a Yorkshire treat 🥐🫖 @discoverilkleyls29 @yorkshiretea @dalesdairies by @moinmoinbakery
ROUND 2! Me and @casa.coffeeroasters are inviting you guys back for our second social no drop ride on the 20th of June. A slightly longer ride with a bit more elevation but easy enough to keep nattering in the peloton. Same format, we will use the roasters as a meeting point at 9am and we will be back around 11:30-12 (all being well) for coffee and some grub which will be supplied by the lovely @moinmoinbakery again. I will release the final route on Strava for you guys very soon and if you want to know anything in the meantime just drop me a message not the Casa page. Also, don’t turn up alone please feel free to bring your pals. All participants must ideally sign up to the event on Strava if you can. See you all soon 🚲 ☕️ 🥐 by @moinmoinbakery
You know what day it is… Fresh Franz Friday, run don’t walk! (Then you’ve earned it 😉) 📍 Embsay @moinmoinbakery by @moinmoinbakery
Latte Papas is back this Saturday at 10.30. Free coffee for all the dads and Babycinnos for the little ones. The weather is looking cold but dry so a nice amble around the town will hopefully be on the cards. It’s great to see some many dads showing up every month for chance to trade stories. #lattepapas #dads #ilkley by @moinmoinbakery
CASA Social Spin 1 ☑️ A massive thank you to everyone who came for the first spin out yesterday. Also a huge thank you to @moinmoinbakery for supplying the spectacular croissants and @alivini_north.marco for the @birrabaladin Espresso Tonics. Let’s make the next one even bigger. 20.6.26 put it in your calendar 🗓️ by @moinmoinbakery
