My final run as a Lakehawk. There will never be enough words to express what being a part of this program has meant to me. I could say that falling short of a national championship was the hardest part about this season being over, but that would be far from the truth.

These past two years have been the best two years of my life, and saying goodbye to this chapter is so difficult. Despite that pain, I am just overwhelmed with gratitude for this place, and these people. Thank you Jesus for leading me to Lake-Sumter, and for allowing it to change my life.

Being a part of this team has made me a better person, and has taught me so much. I have learned to be bold about my relationship with Jesus, that there is no praise worth obtaining if it is not for His glory.

I have also learned that one of the greatest gifts in this life is fellowship, and the importance of knowing that there are people in my corner. At my best or worst, I continuously had people that met me where I was. What a blessing it is that we aren’t designed to run this race alone. Every moment spent here with my best friends will be held so close to my heart.

To my coaches, thank you for not only developing us as athletes, but for continuously reminding us that our worth is found in something so much bigger than our performance in the sand. 🫶🏻

To Coach Neal, thank you for welcoming in a bunch of indoor girls that had so much to learn. Our lives have been forever changed because of you!

To my teammates, thank you for everything. You have made me fall in love with this sport all over again. I owe so much to you. I couldn’t have imagined a better group of girls to have played alongside.

To my mom, thank you for every sacrifice made. Thank you for everything you have done for me, and for giving me every opportunity to grow in the sport I love. I couldn’t have done this without you. ♥️

To my family and friends, thank you for all of your support. Thank you for every game that you attended. There was nothing better than hearing your cheers on the sideline. I can’t thank you enough for being my biggest fans through it all. I have truly been blessed with the best.
