This was one busy summer! ☀️

I got to visit 3 different countries, but I also made the most of my time back home even coming to @quimet.quimet as a customer for once, rather than just being the one running the tour. 😄

And after so much work, so many stories, and countless people from all over the world… We finally reached 2,000 reviews on @airbnbexperiences ! 🥂

Yesterday, Barcelona’s streets were taken over by fire, drums, devils and fireworks for the Correfoc de la Mercè. 👹🥁🔥

I told you to come… and if you did, you already know how incredible it was! 😮‍💨🔥

From the first sparks to the final explosion, Passeig de Gràcia became one giant celebration of Catalan tradition and culture.

This is not something you just watch from a distance, it’s an experience you feel!

The final day of La Mercè 2026! 🎉

Tomorrow, Sunday, Barcelona celebrates the last day of the festival with two spectacular events:

🏰 Castellers — Plaça Sant Jaume
From around 11:30, watch the castellers build their incredible human towers in the heart of Barcelona. A unique Catalan tradition you simply have to see!

🎆 Piromusical — Bogatell Beach
At 22:00, head to Platja del Bogatell for the spectacular finale: fireworks, music and lights by the Mediterranean. 🌊✨

Aquest any, cinc carrers s’han unit per crear El Senyor dels Anells! Al vídeo hi apareixen el carrer de la Fraternitat de Dalt i el carrer de Tordera. No cal IA, només la mateixa voluntat, coneixement i enginy que caracteritzen la Festa Major de Gràcia.
