With the 2026 US Open now concluded, I feel grateful and fortunate to have worked, all in the same year, on the coverage of both a soccer World Cup and a tennis Grand Slam alongside an incredible team at ESPN, ESPN Deportes, and Ahora o Nunca.

Working so closely with the two sports I’ve played and followed since childhood is something I never imagined.

I’m taking away experiences and knowledge I’ll remember for a lifetime, as well as a renewed drive to keep growing, work harder, learn more, dream bigger, and go all out. taken in US Open Tennis Championships by @moisesbend

Where to begin? A World Cup coverage in sports media. These past 43 days have been the experience of a lifetime, definitely a World Cup I will never forget and one where I enjoyed every single minute of it.

For 43 days, I had the privilege being part of the ESPN Deportes and Ahora o Nunca’s team for the coverage of the 2026 FIFA World Cup across production and social media.

Football has been part of my life since I was three years old, but I never imagined I would one day be working in the sport I love most and the best sport in the world :) but also during its biggest event in the world, the FIFA World Cup.

It’s incredible to see what football can do, not only on the field but MORE off the field. The amount of people it moves and brings together, truly unreal and only understandable by seeing it with your own eyes.

I feel incredibly privileged, grateful, and blessed to have joined ESPN in a World Cup year, an event that only happens every 4 years. One dream fulfilled, and even more motivation to dream bigger and to want to go for it all. by @moisesbend
