TESTIMONY! // It was an answered prayer and genuine honor to be asked to minister at @mtparanschool High School Retreat, and the Holy Spirit moved in so many unforgettable ways. One of my favorite examples was through prophetic confirmation for @marinreedthomas that resulted in baptism!

When I ministered on Wednesday night at 7 pm I opened by releasing a prophetic word over the students that the Lord showed me over a year ago. I followed that by telling them that just a few hours earlier in my room the Lord also gave me a vision of someone being baptized in the lakes at @woodlandscamp.

When service concluded around 8:30 pm a Senior girl came up to me and told me I needed to look at her phone. She mentioned the vision of the baptism and I read her text thread with her dad. Just 9 hours earlier that SAME DAY he stepped out in faith and shared with her that he felt she should be baptized and asked if there were lakes at the retreat center. Her initial response in the moment was another reason why she didn’t want to follow through yet with that step of righteousness (she later shared it was something she has been avoiding and timid towards for a while). But after hearing the prophetic word of confirmation she knew the Lord was speaking directly to her and it was time! By 9 pm she was letting her daddy know she was going to take that step.

I almost cried wondering if her sweet father knew that he, as her earthly dad, had believed in faith for her declaration, and just a few hours later all of Heaven backed him as her Heavenly Father publicly confirmed it. I didn’t know anything about @marinreedthomas , only what the Lord had shown.

So, the next day Marin eloquently and powerfully stood in the water and testified to a cloud of MANY witnesses (friends, classmates and even teachers who had been praying for her for years) that the old was gone and the new in Christ was coming in her life—and she wanted everyone to know!

Baptized by water.
Immediate prayers for the baptism of the Holy Spirit.
And a beautiful example of the Lord arising this young generation to all righteousness in Christ.

I’m learning more and more that gratitude & joy are like a mother & daughter. If you focus on gratitude in all things big and small, joy is like the happy shadow, the dancing offspring, the whirling, twirling presence that is never far behind. And it enters in to your mind and heart without apology nor permission needed because her mom was welcomed in first. No matter what your circumstances, choosing gratitude and choosing joy walk hand in hand. by @moisom

Believe me when I tell you that the Lord will even use the children to bless the children if the adult generations choose to sit idly by.
