@srizzybeats is a trans femme DJ, producer, and vocalist based in Brooklyn. Her sound braids tamil heritage with jersey club, house, and the global club music of the diaspora. Past and future in the same bar. Joy and power on the same dancefloor. Healing in motion. Every set an offering back to the music that saved her. All while pushing the sound forward. Expect hypnotic vocals, heavy drums, and bass-driven energy built for the dancefloor.

@mojamid is your friend on the decks bringing a seamless blend of house, garage, and DnB all night long. Expect high energy, deep grooves, and the kind of set that keeps you moving start to finish.

@svaaanik aka SWANK is an NYC-based producer and DJ. Raised on SoundCloud-era trap beats and a pirated copy of FL Studio, he’s long been an electronic music nerd. Behind the decks, he’s mostly focused on blending the minimal haze of ambient and electronica with maximalist club-driven beats, but be prepared for a little bit of everything at one of his sets.

@premshah_ is a Brooklyn-based DJ/producer weaving grungy club energy with South Asian sounds. His sets are dynamic, fast, and unpredictable, built to keep you moving.

@krithimusic is a producer, DJ, singer/songwriter, and DJ, whose music and mixes have been featured on DJ Mag, BBC Radio, Sirius XM, and more. Expect something more downtempo than what she usually spins.

Thank you all so much for the outpouring of love and congratulations on our engagement. Mohammad and I are so fortunate to be surrounded by such a large, warm circle of family and friends. Moments like this remind us just how loved and supported we are.

1 year ago today we rescued Bashenga from under our car. I didn’t even know what the cat distribution system was at the time (you all taught me that), but Bashy is the cutest most playful kitty and we have been obsessed since the day he came into our lives. Love you, BaBa. by @mojamid

For nearly all my life, I don’t think I truly felt real direction or purpose. I found passions and tried different things to figure it all out but was constantly ruminating on the fence about my life choices. Which, in a way, has a lot to do with why I don’t post as much on social media.

2023 was a transformative year. It feels like I’ve finally found the path I was looking for. I’ve never been so excited for the future.

The biggest highlight of 2023 was experiencing Diljit Dosanjh perform at Coachella. I had the honor of working with Sonali Singh, Sam Hunt and the great folks at Goldenvoice to make the historical moment happen. If you knew me in college, you’ll know that Bhangra and Punjabi culture is one of my passions. In fact, the first song I had ever performed Bhangra to in college was ‘Smile’ by Diljit. Being a part of this team truly meant the world to me.

There were several remarkable South Asian musicians that performed at the festival last year; all from different countries, genres and styles. This is a clip from a brilliant documentary about them all called Ascending that just released on YouTube, check it out at the link in my bio.

And like Sonali said, it’s just getting started. by @mojamid
