I had this wooden standing photo of Popcorn made at @walgreens
This was his "pet me now, mom" stance. I told the lady making it that he went to the Rainbow Bridge last Wednesday and that I miss him terribly 😔 She handed it to me and when I tried to pay she said "Don't worry about it" and smiled at me 😭😭😭 I never feel the spirit of Christmas, but what she did felt like a big, warm hug. Today is my best friend's 50th birthday. He's been gone a year and a half now 😢 Oh, how I wish he was still here.
@upinhere2015 Pat, I miss you every single day. If you have lost a best friend, you understand how I feel. Patrick used to check on me all the time. He memorized my phone number. He was the only person who ever stood up to my mama when she was being abusive to me. He would offer to kick anyone's ass that messed with me. Mi little sweetheart is gone 😭 he went to the Rainbow Bridge today. I cooked a turkey on Tuesday so he could eat all he wanted today. I never fed him people food, but he didn't care. He tried to grab a cinnamon roll off my plate once lol. Today was so very difficult, but it was beautiful, too. We were in a lovely room with a couch and birds chirping. He died in my arms after eating a delicious treat. He was so vocal and such a talky boi, it is too quiet in here now. This little beetle (ladybug?) has been in my house for a couple days. I went to release it, and it just stayed on my hand. A light bulb went off in my head, and whaddaya know! It was very thirsty!
