Back by popular demand... 👩‍👩‍👦Donor👩‍👩‍👦

Best friends Miriam and Blake are the unlikeliest of friends to sleep together. Yet one night while Miriam's wife Christie tunes into Bake Off downstairs, Miriam and Blake embark on a night of very little passion upstairs. ‘Donor’ takes a tender look at queer parenting in the modern age.

If you missed this #offcut finalist play the first time round, now is your chance!

Cast - Leah Gaskell, Matthew John Wright, Molly Crighton
Writer - Ellie Harrington
Director - Maisie Holland

🐣 This is happening next week! 🌈

Part of @offcutmcr @53twotheatre and if you come along and vote for us we might get to the final.

It's a little bit saucy so don't miss out!

BTS from our Christmas short The Trio, shot back in 2023. ☃️

This was our first ever film, written, cast and crewed up all in a month and filmed in a day locally. The most fun challenge with a brilliant team behind.

We wanted to create something community-driven, regional, and inspired by British sitcom Xmas specials - with a twist. 🕯️

Recently resurrected at @shortiesevent for their first Northern screening - and now we’d love to share the film with you (link in our bio)! taken in Chorlton, Manchester by @molcrighton

We’re so excited to welcome film maker Amelia Lloyed and Home Bird Films to our Leeds Showcase next week DEC 9Th!

The Trio’s carol rehearsal takes an absurd turn as the friends struggle to process their grief at the loss of their fourth member. Could an ancient book hold the answer, or is the local Christmas lights switch-on doomed?

Come and join in the fun and female empowerment next week at The Department. FREE mince pies and a lot of female inspirations - LINK IN BIO ✨✨ taken in Leeds Dock by @molcrighton
