We become the things we love. When the things we love lift us up, we become even greater versions of ourselves than we ever thought possible. And when the things we love leave us empty and sad, we embody that despair. Some days I am the sun, lighting my way with the happiness that is created on the inside but radiates outwards, and some days I am the black hole, absorbing the darkness and eating myself alive. Both versions are valid. Both deserve grace. If I am only ever light, I won’t understand its beauty or appreciate its fulfillment. If I am only ever dark, I won’t ever see the good that awaits ahead of me with nothing to light my path. And so I am both- sometimes I’m light, sometimes I’m dark, but in both versions I am complete. by @moleda1986
