hello!!
if you haven’t heard the concept of pouring into yourself / filling your own cup, it’s the thought of doing things just for you, that bring you joy or peace :) I struggle with making time for myself and putting myself out there (and doing things independently), so I wanted to make this acc to both keep myself accountable as I learn how to adult and to better prioritize myself, and to continue sharing snippets of my life with all the people I love who are no longer nearby 🥲

expect to see a mix of stuff as I try new things, stay active, and rekindle hobbies, but here’s a collection of big cheeses and a few moments/people/places that make me happy for now :) by @molihuacha.j

just dance >>

姥姥 would like to say that out of all the songs we did, this was the only time she fell:(( she was a lil embarrassed 🤧 but I was impressed w how long she danced w us for! When I initially asked if she wanted to join I didn’t expect her to dance w us for more than 2 tbh but she seemed to have a good time and at the end she was like I’m tired but we can play more tomorrow :)) by @molihuacha.j

went to the driving range for the first time today! I have never held a real golf club before but a handful of ppl at work golf so I’ve been wanting to learn,, I was in a very giggly mood and could not lock in for the life of me but it wasn’t entirely my fault Henry and Jacob were cracking jokes nonstop the entire time too. My v first swing (not pictured)was actually not too bad it was by far best of the evening but weather was so nice and sun was setting and most importantly I had a blast ! (unlike most of my hits) by @molihuacha.j

Vanessa visit + contemporary with Cierra! so sad I got out of frame for this one I loved loved loved the choreo it was so good and it just clicked in my brain perfectly. It’s been a lil bit since I’ve done contemporary and I haven’t gone to a weekday Ava class in a while so I’m so glad Vanessa asked and that it worked out:)) by @molihuacha.j

jazz class today! probably the most last minute I’ve signed up for a class but I haven’t been able to go to an Ava class in a while and realized I could today and I’m so glad I did:) I struggled to retain the choreo for the last bit but honestly this vid came out way better than I thought I was having fun with and actually remembered to look at the camera:)) This was actually the first class of a double header and also after a long run AND I managed to nail the split even though it’s been a while… so yayay good class:) by @molihuacha.j

Sunday’s birding that kind of turned into a more general nature walk! Super fun and hopefully by making this it’ll help me retain some of the info I learned. hip hop Pom fusion! (except we never ended up bringing out the poms oops) This one was so fun I liked the choreo,, I messed up during smaller groups rip but I ended strong so 😎 this was also my first class with Louis who I’ve been wanting to take a class with for a while! he was nice enough to even stay after for a bit and we were chatting while walking out to our cars together 🥹he’s so nice and I love the Ava community🫶 by @molihuacha.j
