The first photo is for my family, for without them, there is no me

From being suspended in high school as a little kid to fighting the State of California, there were times I did not want to finish my degree, but I am grateful and blessed to have done so

I could not have done it without all the love I received throughout the years. Thank you to everyone who I’ve called friend

This journey we call life is so beautiful, difficult at times, and unknown. I am excited to wake up tomorrow and experience it all over again by @molina.a02

Pensamientos en El Norte is a zine I have been working on for some time.

I wrote it to showcase the effects of neoliberalism and the internal struggle it creates in immigrants. Neoliberalism, a fancy word that just means the privatization of all markets & dissolution of public systems.

When a society has private markets, it leads to private lives, which is seen in our loneliness.

Even with all the struggle, we as a people, are able to create such a unique and beautiful culture. The point of this zine is to show even when they separate us from our culture, we will create a new one that is inclusive of all people.

When we search inward, we see love for our people and world. We are all the same people who hurt, love, and want a better life for our children.

As I embark on a new job and begin to study for the LSAT again, I will not be able to dedicate as much time as I would like to this project.

These poems are some of my favorite I’ve written while trying to make sense of this world.

Gateway to the Southwest:

We are all intertwined in ways we will never understand, everything we are is the result of a dozen hands coming together.

For something as simple as a shirt:
Someone must grow the cotton, harvest, spin it into yarn, weave, dye, design, package, and sell.

All untold stories that only come together when someone wears the shirt

There is no such thing as meaningless, everything is in its place.
