🇮🇹 All'inizio era soltanto un libro.Mi ripetevo che fosse solo questo.Ogni pagina, però, rendeva le parole più pesanti. Più vicine.Sentivo una presenza alle mie spalle. Non osavo voltarmi.Era impossibile. Doveva esserlo.Continuai a leggere per convincermi che fosse un'illusione.Fu allora che percepii il suo respiro.Le mani iniziarono a tremare. Il cuore accelerò. Provai a chiudere il libro, ma ormai era troppo tardi.Lui era lì.Le sue mani sulle mie spalle. La sua voce... una lingua che non conoscevo, eppure comprendevo.Cercai di ricordare il mio nome.Rimase soltanto il suo.Il Re era reale.🇬🇧 At first, it was only a book.That was what I kept telling myself.Yet with every page, the words grew heavier.
