There is an ENTIRE squad in EVERY SINGLE scene. For every game. For two World Cups. For two Euros. For four team photos. For all the training montages.
An immense undertaking to Costume, alongside clearances, rights, useage - and also niche intel such as learning the red 2018 shorts only ever existed on the players. If you sold any England kit last Summer, chances are we bought it and its in the show. Our knowledge of the Hypervenom Phantom packs is at Mastermind level. It was brutal and rewarding and everyone worked so hard to get it right.
We are in no mood for notes.

⚽️ Costume Designed alongside the most incredible costume team of all time. The detail, the resilience, the care and the love. I am sure everyone will think we just called Nike and got given everything we needed. The truth is so far from this. Every one of my team searched, bartered, negotiated and scraped together kits, boots and training kit that is simply not readily available, and it HAD to be authentic. All of it. Every players boot is correct for each game we show. We edit our footage directly into real footage from games. Dele Allis printed kenesio tape sourced. Cole Palmers socks. Rashfords sweatband. Hendos necklace. Every training kit look replicated from reportage photos. Every match kit untucked shirt mud slide and cut sock replicated.
Clearance clearance clearance rights and useage.
Every single shirt hand printed in our office.
A feat that only we know.

I often say in interviews I can’t really believe it happened, and its true. I am eternally grateful to @filmbymichaelmorris @jowallett @workingtitlefilms for making my dreams come true with this life highlight and career highlight 💖

Bridget wears a grey belted jacket from the @bridgetjones film one archive. She wears this coat when we first ever meet Bridget, on her way to the Turkey Curry Buffet. When we feel vulnerable we often reach for clothes that make us nostalgic, and take us back to our memories. I also wanted to make a statement that fashion is cyclical, and also to reuse pieces from Bridgets history (Film One Costume Design by Rachael Fleming)
