This morning had that crisp, fall-is-just-around-the-corner feel to it. It’s always a little sad when summer comes to an end but then we smile again because there’s this beautiful time of year called Fall. When sunflowers bow their heads and the sky changes to that autumn blue that I’m sure has a name but for now we all know the shade I’m talking about. One of the things I’ve started doing every evening to help me relax is lighting a candle. I was influenced by some ladies who said these were great candles. Thanks Deb and Danelle! Love them! They smell amazing and last forever! I love how they look too! Happy hump day evening! 🌷 by @mollyfiggatt

Spring is in the air here in WV today! It’s been a long hard year but God is faithful. Today I’m grateful for beautiful flowers, 70° temps and sunshine. Hope you’re having a beautiful day friends!

Every vintage dress form needs a few layers of gorgeous old pearls just like every woman needs multiple...pairs of shoes and handbags! 😁

I found out last week that my absolute favorite vintage shop, Saving Vintage, will be closing their storefront at the end of March. I’m heartbroken for my friend. She’s worked so hard to make her dreams come true and while she will still be doing online sales and workshops, it’s going in and talking with her in her darling shop that I’ll miss so much. I’ve been the blessed recipient of many treasures from her shop over the past few years and this vintage dress form is one of them. You never know what you’re going to find when you walk in through her front door! It all started with a crinoline skirt she had draped over a carefully curated sitting area. I couldn’t stop looking at it and my mind flashed to how cute it would look on a dress form. Wouldn’t you know she had one! Eeeek! So here she is. My inner little girl is dying to style her and just “play”! And she needs a name! Any suggestions? Have a beautiful day!

A few weeks before Christmas I decided to sneak away to an antique shop to “just look around” and distress. I knew it would be good- I could feel it in my bones. This old girl was sitting in a shelf with a bunch of other old typewriters but none as cool as her. There wasn’t a price tag so I asked the lady at the counter. She called the booth owner and he said $50! I somehow managed to keep my chin off the floor and calmly said “Ok.” My heart was pounding and the high of a good find had me giddy! It’s a 1920’s Underwood No. 5 typewriter. I’ve wanted one for so long but couldn’t bring myself to pay $$$. So for my fellow antique lovers, be patient. That treasure you’re hunting for is out there just waiting for you to find it. Happy lazy Sunday!

Just a little white snowbird, some vintage shoe forms and a sprig of hemlock that my little boy brought in the other day. He wanted to give me some decorations he said. Boy, does that kid ever know me! Hope you’re all having a cozy evening.

We woke up to about 4” of snow this morning! Eeeek!! I don’t know who was more excited, me or the boys! Went out to take pics of them playing and quickly became the unsuspecting target of more than a few snowballs!! Game on!!!!! Hope y’all have a wonderful day! ❄️😘
