Well… it’ll be hard to top May of 2025… I’m met my birth mom and family. 🫳🎤

There were definitely a lot of highlights, but to be completely honest, I’m pretty exhausted. It was an emotional year… a year of massive change, grieving, acceptance and plenty of joy… but let’s just say that I’m still processing this one. Good luck topping this one 2026 🤠

Sage advice from @ejayodonnell, co-founder of @dadgang.co

We talked about how we measure success and why he thinks less about work life balance and more about “work-life integration.” His work matters but never more than the people it’s meant to support.

There’s something really special about how openly he models a more present and nurturing version of fatherhood and he isn’t afraid to talk about showing up and caring deeply and making family visible in the way he lives and works! If you’ve ever owned a business or have been juggle a lot at once, you know this isn’t always easy!

That mindset is part of what made @dadgang.co possible. Ejay is working with some of his best friends creating a model for how to be ambitious, present and deeply invested in the people around you. That’s something to take away from our conversation whether you’re a dad or not.

Mother nature (and Loki) really showing off today. 🍄☀️🌲

While Loki spent half the day being adorable using the moss as his personal slip and slide, he typically has a “wide birth” and I get nervous sometimes when he gets out of sight, but with the @heel.dog collar we’re you able to stay connected. I set the proximity settings that automatically sends him a little beep and vibrate if he gets too far out 🙆‍♀️🐕🐕

I grew up zig zagging the country on summer roadtrips with my family. My sense of adventure and ability to find a comforts of “home” nearly anywhere I land is no doubt attributed to that experience and I feel so lucky to be able to create new moments and share some of my favorite places with my 82 year old mama, my boys, and the newest addition to the family, “Merlin”. A few days in Montana for the recent Montana FWP committee meeting, farms stays and making new friends and visiting old friends at Discovery Vineyards in eastern Washington. taken in Montana, USA by @mollyhawks

@taylorlrabe spent the last seven years with the Yellowstone Wolf Project in @yellowstonenps, helping people better understand one of the most misunderstood animals in North America. I recently sat down in Yellowstone to talk about her journey, wolves, conservation, storytelling, and what it means to be someone that others can look up to in a space where very few people look like her.

I thought the best place to start was by letting Taylor introduce herself.

The show is about people who do things different , often times creative or entrepreneurs… And in some cases, simply just people with an idea… I love people who have an idea and then actually DO the thing.

@capturecoolness had never written a children’s book but he figured out how. 😂

The result is “@cruzthesnail and the Kindness Crew”, a very Steven combination of snowboarding, getting outside, family time and being a good human.

And major shoutout to local illustrator @kaily.art, who helped bring Cruz and the whole Kindness Crew to life. Steven found her work, pitched her the idea, and the collaboration became a huge part of what makes this little book so damn charming.

A good reminder that you don’t have to know how to do every part of an idea yourself. Sometimes you just need to start, find the right people, and figure it out along the way.

What makes her work different isn’t just the training, it’s the philosophy and her niche.

She believes many of the behavioral issues we see in dogs aren’t problems to be fixed. They’re signals that something deeper is missing.
