I had the opportunity to meet with Molly, and we discussed Mai Vang and her campaign for Congress. We talked about Mai’s integrity, her willingness to fight for what’s right, and her strong understanding of the issues that matter most to people across the Sacramento region. She remains connected to the needs of the communities she hopes to represent and is ready to be a strong advocate for them.

grad grad grad 👩‍🎓 💫 studying IR during these last few years has not been easy to say the least, but I am beyond grateful for my incredible support system who continue to inspire me and remind me why I chose to do this in the first place and why it’s so important.

For me, this achievement has nothing to do with how many world flags or treaties that I have memorized, but about people. I learned that systems may (and will) fail us, but people are worth fighting for. People are what make up International Relations, and the reason why it’s so great. To my family, thank you for constantly pouring love into me and being my rock, to my friends (especially my roomie @ayanawth who had to live next to me and listen to me belting in the shower for a YEAR) thank you for constantly reminding me who I am and that she is worthy, capable of achieving her dreams, and that everyday is a celebration.

We did it y’all, and I’m endlessly proud of all of us. Every moment we faced that made us feel small, unprepared, or tried to underestimate us shaped us and made us stronger and into the forces we are today. Forces of nature that the world is just gonna have to accept are coming, and with each other, there is nothing that can hold us back, for your growth has no bounds💗 ok yay now everybody clap your hands ! taken in UC Davis by @mollymistic
