18?! Happy birthday, Jonas! 💙 You completed our little pod…the third of our wise men, and forever our baby!

“Adult” means nothing…you’re never too old to come home, and Mom will always be bigger than you. Age doesn’t change that! 😉

So fun that you get to celebrate with your birthday buddies! So grateful God chose us to raise you up. We sure do love you 🫶🏼

A little behind on this post, but Kaiden ran an awesome first 8K on September 18 at the St. John’s Invite at River Oaks in Cold Spring! His second meet with Concordia Moorhead XC. 💛

There’s nothing like seeing your kid exactly where he’s meant to be, with an incredible coach and teammates. He carries himself differently, with a knowing and a confidence we’ve prayed for. You walk away thinking, “He’s good. He’s really good.”

Friday night’s Homecoming game against Bemidji… what a night! These Warriors brought the bell home and were SO much fun to watch! 💙🔔🏈 Having so many friends and family there cheering them on made it even sweeter.

Coach Freed’s words about Jonas showing up every morning, putting in the time, and being a leader meant so much to us. Seeing that hard work come together and being in the stands for moments these Warriors will remember always… was everything. 💙

And Homecoming court with Sophia… so special! A week full of memories we’ll hold close.

WOW what a way to start senior captain season! 💙🏈 First game of 2026 and this whole Warrior team SHOWED UP! So much fun to watch!

Jonas is playing strong safety and wide receiver this year so he is going both ways. Tough enough on a normal night, but when it was still in the mid 80s during the game I was definitely watching him a little closer. 😂 He loves every second of it though and would probably never come off the field if given the choice, so we just watch him and let his coaches do their thing. 💙

And then OVERTIME!! 😳 Warriors WIN!! What a game!

On the way home we listened to the radio replay and found out Jonas was named the Pizza Ranch Defensive Player of the Game and I seriously could have cried. 🥹💙

There is just something pretty special about seeing your kid work so hard, listen to everything his coaches tell him, take it to the field and then be recognized for it. So proud of him. And honestly, so fun watching all of these boys. They are doing such a great job and there is just something different about senior year. 💙

A huge thank you to the Brainerd coaches for everything they pour into these boys, to Heidi Hagen for the amazing photos, and to Jonas for clearly not wasting all of Mom’s stellar sporty genes. 😂💙🫶🏼

From the moment we walked in, we could see it. Kaiden was grounded, confident, happy, and exactly where he is supposed to be. 💛

We have watched him run more races than I could ever count over the years, but this one just felt different. This was his collegiate debut. His race. His team. His next chapter. And he ran with a confidence that said he knew he belonged there. Because he absolutely does. 🥹❤️

Travis and I were so grateful we could make it to Moorhead for the 8:40 PM race, and honestly, cross country under the lights was SO cool. The Concordia president was there, Kaiden’s roommate made it over after a busy day on the baseball field, students lined the course, and hearing people cheer the runners on BY NAME as they went by was one of those moments where you just think, yes…this is exactly what you hoped he would find.

A place where he is known. A place where he is supported. A place that will challenge him, grow him, and already feels like home.

And wow, was he fun to watch. 💛

Kaiden’s collegiate cross country debut with Concordia Men’s Cross Country…21:47 in the 6K! 🏃‍♂️🔥

So incredibly proud of this kid, but even more grateful that he has found his place and is stepping into it with so much confidence and joy.

Happy 26th birthday to the one who made me a mom, a mother in love, and a grandma. 💙 You have brought so many blessings into my life from the very beginning. That is just who you are, Bailey. You love big, you care deeply, and you make the people around you better.

Watching you become the husband and daddy you are has been one of the greatest joys of my life. I am so incredibly proud of you and I love you more than I could ever put into words. I cannot wait to see you today and celebrate you! 🫶🏼

There we go…brought Kaiden to Concordia, Dad’s old stomping grounds, and just like that he is already off to XC camp. ❤️

Looking through these pictures from today back to where it all began sure makes a mom wish she could turn back time for just a minute. Not to change anything, just to hold onto it a little longer. Such a reminder to slow down, refocus on the people we love and really live this life while we are in it.

Some of his XC teammates helped move him in, Andrew’s mom came to welcome the boys, I rushed to put a few things away and then he was off. Almost better that it happened fast. Straight to his first meeting and then camp. Probably exactly what this mom needed. 🥹

On our way back to the truck I found a feather. 🪶 Feathers have always been one of my signs, along with blue jays, that all is right. I needed that today.

It will be great. He is ready and I know he is exactly where he is supposed to be.

May God protect you, guide you and watch over you, Kaiden. Go live it all. You are so very loved.

So much fun watching these Warriors make play after play at 7-on-7! 💙🏈

Watching Jonas’s drive, leadership, and years of hard work continue to pay off is something I’ll never take for granted. He’s had a football in his hands since he was little, and seeing him compete alongside this group is such a joy.

This team is fun to watch, and I can’t wait to see what they accomplish together this fall. So excited for Jonas’s senior season and for Warrior football! 💙 #BUILD #warriorfootball by @mollyraske

Happy birthday to the love of my life 💙

To my main squeeze. My humble human. The steady hand behind our family.

The coach for our kids and so many others, even without the official title all these years. They come to you because they see something in you, and they know you’ll help them become better. The hunter, the fisherman, the grower, the gatherer, and the guy who somehow turns whatever he brings home into the best meal on the table.

The one who always eats last because everyone else comes first. The one who locks every door, turns off every light, checks the weather before the rest of us even think about it, and fixes everything that breaks without saying a word, but we all notice.

The best husband. The best dad. The best Grandpa to our sweet Rylee. The voice of reason when I’m already ten ideas ahead. The calm in every storm. My captain. My compass. My “Safety third” to my “Safety FIRST.” 😆

You lead with quiet strength, fierce loyalty, and a servant’s heart. You make everyone around you feel safe, loved, heard, capable, and never alone. You’re the first to show up to whatever I sign us up for, the last to leave, and the one everyone can count on without ever having to ask.

You are truly one of God’s greatest gifts to our family, and every adventure is better because it’s with you.

Happy birthday, Travis. We love you more than words can say. Here’s to another year of chasing fish, making memories, fixing whatever I accidentally break, and reminding people that yes, we’re actually the same age (for a few months). 😂 One of these days they’ll stop asking if you’re my son.

A little glimpse into July 3rd and 4th in Nisswa. ❤️🤍💙

Three boys in the parade. Trophy husband driving. Bailey working security from all the fans chasing the convertible. I am choosing to believe they were there for me and not the candy. 😏🍬 Huge thanks to the Miles family at Lakes Area Auto Solutions for the perfect ride.

Watching our “little boys” on the A&W float, celebrating this year’s Warrior football captains, seeing Meghan, sweet Rylee and family cheering us on, ice cream for supper, fireworks that never disappoint, Kaiden rocking the Firecracker 5K after sweating away half his body weight in the parade, swimming in the lake, and Travis floating in the water watching the boat parade because somebody has to make sure it’s actually a parade. 😂🚤

Thank you to the Nisswa Chamber and Emma for creating the kind of traditions families build their summers around. Thank you for the incredible honor of being the Heart of Nisswa. 🫶🏼

We are so lucky to live here, work here, raise our family here, and celebrate with friends who have become family.

One day late. 😏 Which, if we’re being honest, feels about right for us (me) lately.

Twenty years ago yesterday, we stood up there with absolutely no idea what we (you) were saying “I do” to. 💍

This reel starts with our wedding day… sweet little Bailey by our side… and somehow here we are. Three incredible boys. Bailey finding his forever with Meghan. Sweet little Rylee making us Gigi and Grandpa. Millions of little moments that somehow became a really beautiful life.

We’ve had seasons where we wondered what in the world we were doing. We’ve laughed until we cried, cried until we laughed again, raised boys, been through medical crises, fixed things that probably didn’t need fixing, tackled projects that definitely should have come with instructions, chased dreams, weathered storms, and found adventures wherever life took us.

And somewhere in the middle of all that… we kept choosing each other.

You still make me laugh. You still surprise me. You still have me eating my words after I tease you about the “little fish”… and then you pull in the giant northern. 🎣🙄😂

Thank you for building this life with me. Not because it’s been perfect… but because it’s been ours.

Here’s to more campfires. More pontoon rides. More road trips. More grandbabies. More projects. More teasing each other. More sunsets. More ordinary Tuesdays that end up becoming our favorite memories.

Here’s to 60+ more years of living our very best life… cheek to cheek. 💙💍

I wouldn’t want this adventure with anyone else.
